Rotpriest error
I am playing Pioneer or Historic formats. Using a poisoner deck. I have a Necrogen Rotpriest in play as well as a Venerated Rotpriest. When I use the Necrogen Rotpriest ability, on either creature, it should trigger the Venerated Rotpriest ability but it doesn’t. As well, often times opponents cast an enchantment which exiles a target creature until it leaves play. This should also trigger the Venerated Rotpriest ability but often times doesn’t. Have tried repairing files.

Venerated Rotpriest only triggers when a creature of yours becomes the target of a SPELL. Only spells trigger it, activated and triggered abilities, like from Necrogen Rotpriest and Banishing Light are not spells, they are abilities. Venerated Rotpriest does not care about abilities targeting your creatures.
