Maximum overdrive
When I use an indestructible instant on creature being killed by maximum overdrive it doesn't work the creature is destroyed anyway

Overkill doesn't destroy, it reduces toughness. A creature with toughness 0 or less is put into the graveyard as a state based action. No destruction involved, so indestructible doesn't help.

I meant overkill I wasn't able to prevent destruction against overkill with maximum overdrive
