Sorcery card (Hard-Hitting Question) green spell is transferring deathtouch when used with a deathtouch creature
BUG: when pairing a spell that deals damage equal to target creatures power with a deathtouch creature it is also using the creatures deathtouch ability. And players are exploiting it.

It is not the spell that deals the damage. As per its text, it is the creature that does. And the creature has deathtouch. The source of damage is not nessessarily the spell/ability that causes it.
