Card couldn't be countered 😞
I've had a double sided blue card with one land and one counterspell on the otherside but the counterspell didn't work... 😞 I was trying to counter an anthem like card which gives all my opponents creatures +1+1 and it didn't work.

That counterspell only counters the spell, it the player does not pay 1 mana. They had Nyktos on the field at 10, so most likely still had more than enough mana in their mana pool after casting their Anthem to pay that measly cost.
