Taster of Wares unable to cast Unexpected Assistance with convoke
I played Taster of Wares and my opponent exiled Unexpected Assistance. Before taking any other game actions, it appeared as though I could cast the Unexpected Assistance. However, after playing another creature, and attempting to convoke the Unexpected Assistance, I was unable to. I had 4 creatures untapped and 1 mana available. Although the Unexpected Assistance didn't highlight, I tried to manually cast it... after tapping 3 creatures, it asked me to pay 2 more... but after tapping my fourth creature, it still asked me to pay 2 more.

The two mana requested is the colored portion of the spell, which your non-blue creatures cannot convoke for. You can use mana of any color to pay for that, but you have to pay mana or tap blue creatures to pay that part.
