Incorrect rules interactions
I killed my creature with Tragic Trajectory, and I healed from South Wind Avatar, but I didn’t deal damage to my opponent from the other part of South Wind Avatar’s ability.

You killed it by reducing its toughness to 0 or less. So you gained 0 life, which was the toughnes of the dying creature.
