Just playes against an opponeent who played this card on Turn 2.
During the Game he exiled many cards face down and never took Damage.
Once I scryed a Rec Sage to the top so I could see him exiling Rec Sage from my Deck to his Exile and don't take Damage. So this is 100% bugged.
I guess since the card is exiled face down the Mana Value of the card is not calculated which is funny because when he exiled the Rec Sage we both had perfect knowledge of that card only Arena struggled...

My opponent was at 1 life, triggered thought string analyst, didn't die. So I thought it must've been a land, but then he played my Lotus Cobra. I almost lost a game due to this bug.

Saw that too. Playing against a steal deck and Opponent had Thought-String Analyst. Exiled and played my Saryth the Viper's Fang, losing no life.

Just played this card in a deck where the purpose is to steal the opponents cards. It was on the battlefield with Laughing Jasper flint. I got 1 creature card from flint because he was the only outlaw on the battle field and I got 1 creature card from Thought-string Analyst and I didn't take any damage.
FYI this bug reporting system is ****. Have to have the highest votes for them to pay attention. Totally broken card and this will die in the feed. I guess we will see a temp ban when people get wind and abuse it.

I experienced this in a game last night. Opponent played Thought-String Analyst on turn 2 and exiled a card from the top of my deck, which turned out to be Fable of the Mirror-Breaker which he played on turn 3. He did not lose 3 life upon exiling the card as he was supposed to. He did not have any lands or other permanents in play that would have prevented the damage.
