Stirring Hopesinger's ability doesn't activate
I played Stirring Hopesinger and then I played Ethereal Armor, but Stirring Hopesinger's ability didn't activate.
I also have the problem with many other spells, where Stirring Hopesinger's ability doesn't activate.

Ethereal Armor is neither an instant nor a sorcery. So why would you expect a triggered ability specifically looking for an instant or sorcery being cast to trigger for it?
