Tarrian's Soulcleaver
Tarrian’s soulcleaver seems to be benefitting from TOKENS dying even though it requires permanents to go to the graveyard to trigger (tokens specifically do not go to the graveyard).

Incorrect. Tokens specifically DO go to the graveyard as well as any other zone they are sent to. They cease to exist as a state based action shortly thereafter.
111.7. A token that’s in a zone other than the battlefield ceases to exist. This is a state-based action; see
rule 704. (Note that if a token changes zones, applicable triggered abilities will trigger before the
token ceases to exist.)
