Jaya's Immolating Inferno + Torbran, Thane of Red Fell
Jaya's Immolating Inferno failed to get buffed by Torbran in a Brawl game I just played. I cast JII for x=2 with Torbran in play, intending to kill my opponent's 1/1, 1/2, and 5/4 (3/2 with two +1/+1 counters on it). It only did 2 damage to the 5/4 (killed the other two creatures). I have read the cards multiple times to make sure I didn't miss anything, there was nothing on my side or opponent's side to reduce or prevent damage. The only thing that may have affected any of the interaction was my Soul-Scar Mage, even though it shouldn't have directly changed anything about how much total damage the 5/4 should have taken, it did take off both +1/+1 counters. Unless I'm grossly missing something, I do not see why JII shouldn't have dealt 4 to each of the three targets in this scenario. Accordingly, I think this interaction is bugged.

Yes, Soul-Scar Mage is the reason. Because Both Torbran and the Mage generate replacement effects. And it is the AFFECTED PLAYER or the controller of the affected objects who determines the order in which replacement effects are applied. Choosing the Mage's effect first makes damage into -1/-1 counters, so no damage is about to be dealt anymore, thus Torbran has nothing left to apply to.
