The Wondrous Wasp fails to remove Undercover Skrull's +2/+2 ability
Undercover Skrull remained 3/3 after The Wondrous Wasp removed an ability from it. It should have become 1/1 instead. This bug cost me the game.

Not a bug. This is yet another example of an ability changing creature types and do something else, too. Type changes happen in layer 4, ability losing in layer 6, so type changes always happen before that. And due to rule 613.6b, once an effect starts to apply, it gets to apply fully, even if the ability creating the effect is lost before the parts in later layers are applied. Meaning, since the effect started to apply in layer 4, its layer 7 parts get to apply, too, despite layer 6 removing the ability. So the creature still gets the +2/+2.
