Jackal, Genius Geneticist and Doubling Season interaction
When doubling season is on the battlefield and Jackals ability triggers, doubling season doesn't double the amount of tokens that is generated by jackals ability. It effects both legendary and none-legendary creatures.

This is neither new nor a bug. Doubling Season only affects tokens that are created. Tokens from Jackal and other cards that copy a permanent spell are not created. They first are copies of the spell on the stack, and those spell copies simply enter as tokens, because they lack a card to represent them. So they become tokens so that they can remain on the battlefield. There is no token creation here, so nothing to double. The spell copy becomes a token, it does not create one.
