There is nothing to fix. Hylderblade's trigger has an intervening-if clause, which has to be true at the time the ability would trigger. If it is not, no trigger. By the time Fleeting Effigy is returned to the hand via its own end of turn trigger, the beginning of the end step has long since past. To get the Hylderblade's trigger, the condition has to be true at the very moment the end step begins.
