Game Bug: Indestructible creature destroyed by regular combat damage (The Sentry vs The Void)
Hello,
I am writing to report a major interaction bug in MTG Arena's gameplay rules that caused me to lose my match unjustly.
During the combat phase, my opponent attacked me with "The Void" (token), which had its power buffed up to 7 attack. I blocked using my creature, "The Sentry, Golden Guardian", which has 5 toughness and the keyword Indestructible.
No other spells or effects were on the stack or active on the board (there were no direct toughness reduction spells like -X/-X effects or -1/-1 counters involved). It was pure combat damage.
Instead of correctly marking 7 damage on my creature and letting it survive due to its Indestructible ability, MTG Arena incorrectly processed the combat math. The game treated the 7 combat damage as a direct toughness reduction, mathematically taking "The Sentry" down to -2 toughness, and illegally destroyed it, sending it to my graveyard.
Per the official MTG Comprehensive Rules, combat damage does not reduce a creature's toughness, and Indestructible permanents should completely ignore lethal damage destruction.
Please review the match logs. Since this bug directly caused me to lose a match in an event.
Thank you for your time and help.

Did your opponent have Massacre Girl, Know Killer on the field? If so, The Void had wither, and dealt damage in the form of -1/-1 counters.
