Cannot cast a spell that I have mana to cast
It has occurred numerous times that the game will not cast a spell, such as Apex of Power for example even if I have the mana available to cast it. On the off chance that the game allows me to cast a spell I have mana for, another bug occurs where it does not generate ANY mana, such as with Apex of Power even if I cast the spell from my hand. It has happened with other spells as well, Improvisation Capstone being another spell the game has failed to cast.

Reading your opponent's cards can prevent a lot of frustration.
Lavina, Azorius Renegade:
"Each opponent can't cast noncreature spells with mana value greater than the number of lands that player controls."
Of course, this only addresses the sceenshot. But the other instances may have similar causes: your opponent, or even you yourself, having effects that interfere.
