Arena taps Spider Manifestations, because casting your spell will UNTAP it, leaving you with more available mana for the turn. If you do not like how Arena autotaps, you can disable the autotapper in the settings menu. Doing so results in Arena merely suggesting how to tap. You can then either accept the proposal, or you can manually use your mana sources and floating mana until Arena's constantly updating suggestion aligns with your wishes, and then accept to let it autotap the remainder of that suggestion.
