Adventure spell not fizzling
In a game of MTG Arena, I was playing The Hobbit Welcome Deck Duel. I played the red deck, and my opponent played the black deck.
My opponent attempted to cast Meager Meal, targeting their Front Porch Sentries. In response, with the Meager Meal spell still on the stack, I cast Smite the Deathless, targeting the Front Porch Sentries, which was a base 2/2. The Smite the Deathless resolved, and Front Porch Sentries was destroyed and exiled.
However, rather than going to the graveyard, Gollum, Silent Slinker was exiled, and was then immediately cast. I expected the Meager Meal / Gollum, Silent Slinker spell to fizzle entirely, and the opponent to no longer have access to the Gollum, Silent Slinker creature part of the card.

Meager Meal has two targets: up to one creature, and a player. So long as at least one target remains legal, a spell will resolve and do as much as possible, even if that amounts to nothing. For a spell to fizzle, ALL targets must be illegal at the time it would resolve.
