Lady Octopus and Affinity for Artifacts
Lady Octopus appears glitched. Will not cast items with Affinity for Artifacts for new lower cost. Seems to key off original mana value only. Help?

Affinity and other cost reductions (or increases) don't change mana value. Even if the casting cost of an 8 mana spell would be reduced to zero, its mana value would still be 8. Because the mana value is solely derived from the mana symbols in the mana cost, and not at all what you would have to pay for the spell if you were to cast it. Lady Octopus cares about mana value not costs.
