Pact of negation trigger
I cast Pact of negation with 5 lands on board but only one with a source of blue, I had the intention of paying for the pact trigger using my deathrite shaman with a land in my graveyard but the trigger killed me before I had the chance to pay for it, I even had full control active at the time but it instantly killed me with no option to pay for it.

Strange, yesterday i had same problem:
At the start of my turn, I have 4 untapped lands.
At the beginning of the upkeep, the Pact of Negation trigger goes on the stack, and I lose the game.
I thought I could tap my Deathrite Shaman to produce mana.
You need to Hold priority to tap shaman -

You need to set as stop in your upkeep. Arena doesn't see you as having the nessessary mana, because Deathrite Shaman does not have a mana ability. The mana producing ability it does have is not one, because it requires a target and must use the stack. So as always, you have to take the extra step for responding in your upkeep by setting a stop.
