Game failed to allow me to counter a planeswalker spell with spell pierce. Twice.
Twice the game failed to highlight and allow to caste spell pierce despite having a blue mana to pay and the spell I wanted to target being a non creature spell (planeswalker)

Then one of the many cards in Standard that disallow casting spells on your opponent's turn was on your opponent's side, most likely. Those cards are: Grand Abolisher, Voice of Victory, Jennifer Walters, and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar.
