Iron-shield Elf
The iron-shield elf ability can continuely be triggered even after it has been tapped. What is the point of the "Tap it." text if you can activate the ability after it has already been tapped.

So that it is assured that it is tapped after the ability has resolved. To tap it is an additional effect, not a cost or requirement.
