Craft with artifact mechanic not working with clay fired bricks tokens
When I’m using extravagant replication and create additional tokens of clay fire bricks, the mechanic for craft with artifact does not work with the tokens like it should. This seems to only occur when you try to use the mechanic with a token, the first part of the animation fires, but then the resulting effect of creating the new artifact, and the two additional creatures does not happen and I end up losing the clay fire bricks, tokens.

That's because they are tokens, and are subjected to this rule:
111.8. A token that has left the battlefield can’t move to another zone or come back onto the battlefield.
If such a token would change zones, it remains in its current zone instead. It ceases to exist the next
time state-based actions are checked; see rule 704.Since crafting exiles the token as part of the cost, and doesn't just transform it, it leaves the battlefield, and cannot return, in any form.
