Render Speechless bug
Was in a Direct Game with my wife and after I played Render Speechless, it allowed me to choose a card from her hand to let me discard, but it did not let me target my Scornful Lecturemage to give it the two +1/+1 counters on it.

All targets must be chosen when the spell is put on the stack. You do not get to wait until the spell resolves to pick the target for the counters. You probably skipped over the second target and chose zero creatures by accident.
