creatures fighting causing my creature to tap and no double strike
When using cards like Bushwhack or pounce causes my creature to tap resulting in end of the combat phase. Similarly bug with double strike mechanic not working.

A fight is not combat. So abilities that only work for combat, like first strike and double strike, do nothing in a fight. Damage dealt in a fight is non-combat damage.
