Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Database Doesn't Show Triomes when Searching by Color
Good Morning MTG Staff,
I am just emailing concerning the app, love it by the way. I just noticed some issues. I noticed that when you search up lands and put what color mana you do or do not want in the rules text the lands double faced lands, the ones with spells on the other side instead of the land, do not show up. The spells that transform/flip to lands do though. Also when I searched up desert with restrictions on what colors and can and cannot produce it still showed all of them. Pairings Disappear
Pairings disappear on opening the application, meaning I frequently have to ask the TO who and where I'm playing.

The type/supertype searchbox in advanced search option for card database for some reason says type/subtype

Shareable links
I Love the new feature of accessing the card database.
It would be really nice to also have a feature so I can share cards with my friends. Preferably via Gatherer-URL.
Maybe at some point companion might even be able to open Gatherer Links in its card database?Keep up the good work!

Creature Types are not updated
When searching for a creature by creature type, the results are incomplete. This occurs because creature types that have been updated on older cards are not appearing.
For example, Rootwater Alligator is still displayed in Oracle on the app to have the Alligator creature type. On desktop, Gatherer correctly shows it as a Crocodile creature type.
This current feature is annoying, as accessing Gatherer on mobile asks me to use Companion, but I can't rely on the data on Companion until this is fixed.

Mana Value and Hybrid Mana
I used the advanced search to look for common or uncommon black creatures (including black, not exactly) with mana value = 1 and Ashenmoor Gouger was one of the results. Not sure if there’s an issue with hybrid mana costs and the mana value filter?

Card Database Feedback
I would like to comment on a number of things in the new Card Database. (FYI, I am using a Samsung Galaxy S7)
Issues:
- In the advanced search, I personally find it too easy to accidentally activate the "mana value," "power," and "toughness" sliders. Maybe you could make it so you have to tap on the orange dots to activate these search fields.
- The database seemingly has a hard time loading large amounts of DFCs and split cards (only the DFC/split cards have trouble loading; anything else in the search loads as usual).

Inclusive, Exclusive, Highest & Lowest Rarity Searches
It would be incredibly valuable for formats that care about Rarity for Magic Companion to include settings to search Rarity inclusively or exclusively, and to filter search results by Highest and Lowest Rarity.
An inclusive search is done by looking for any printing of a card that matches the search criteria. If Card A has been printed at Common, Uncommon and Rare, and you do an inclusive search for Uncommon cards, then Card A will appear in the search results because at least one of its printings matches the criteria. This is like how Pauper currently cares about Rarity.

Sort by Rarity
It would be good to be able to sort the cards in a set by Rarity, so we see all the Commons first, then Uncommons, etc.

Cards missing from database
Some cards for example Angrath, Minotaur Pirate are not in the database or don’t show up in a search.

Event - Commander Increase Player Count
I regularly play matches of commander that has more than 4 players. It would be awesome to raise the player count beyond 4 players!

Duplicates in database
I’ve found an issue with a duplicate of Freyalise, Llanowar’s Fury appearing in card database. This is maybe due to the Commander Anthologies version containing the outdated oracle text “to your mana pool”.

Card Database Colour Search Issues - "Exactly" Criteria Does Not Work
On the advanced card search engine there is a feature that allows the user to narrow their search by card colours. There are three options on how the user can limit their search around colours: include, exclude, and exactly. The "exactly" option does not work as read; it functions identically to the "include" option. "Exactly" entails that what ever colour(s) I select to search by is the only colour(s) of cards that should be presented to me. Notifications after elimination
Final round of Swiss ended and I didn’t make top8, so I was eliminated.
Still received notifications for T8 round. Feels like notifications should end upon elimination.

App repeatedly asks for name them claims ive been eliminated instead of showing my pairing
I have a bug where the app repeatedly asks for my name, claiming it's not on my wizards account. I have verified that it is on my account. After inputting my name, it says I've been eliminated instead of showing my pairing. This completely prevents me from seeing any of my round pairings, so I don't see my table and can't report

Upgrades
My suggestion is that the card search should be able in multiple languages, also it would be really nice that it shows the probable result with partial words (so if you don't remember exactly the name you have a hint)
Other suggestion is to put the search bar in the results of the card, just in case you want to look for another card, and don't have to go back5 votesGreat suggestions! We’ve got many of these on our backlog and will be rolling them out in the future.

Update app icon for circular bubble
On my Android device all of the app icons are circles, but the MTG companion app icon is a tiny square inside of a circle.
It looks terrible.
Probably not hard to fix, please fix for immediate QoL for anybody like me who has a phone with circular app bubbles

Card Database rendering issue
There is an overlap when rendering a card page from the search page where you end up seeing both for about a second. I am on an iOS 14.6 iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Quotations when searching
I tried searching for "search your library for a card" but it returned resulted that didn't have that exact quote. I think it searched without the quotation marks.
