To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Round timer disappearing
Android user here. Attempting to host and play.
When beginning a new event with the round timer enabled the timer appears in the event pairings area as normal.
Affter entering the life tracker or another screen and returning to the event Page to report the round timer disappears and no way to get it back without starting a new event.
Attempted to proceed to next round, timer does not reappear either.2 votes -
Change color in life tracker
Just a small feature that allow us to set which background color would be in every seat. Me and my friend are bound to specific colors in mtg and seats when we are playing so it would be great to adjust which color is where in life tracker

Incorrect oracle text on companion for tarfire
Tarfire oracle text should say any target rather than target creature or player. I confirmed this on gatherer.

Application Splash Slow to Start
You're just trying to show me text pairings. Why does this thing need to take 30 seconds to launch when I click a round notification? It's more efficient to just pester the TO for a pairing sheet.

-What operating system is your device? (Android/iOS)
-What type of device are you using? make/model
-What version of the Companion app are you using? -
Change app name to make it searchable with Magic terms
On Android, when searching the app drawer, this companion app is only named "Companion" so does not pull up when using search terms like "Magic" or "MTG"

Add Day/Night Tracker to Life Total Tracking Screen
With the release of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, and the prevalence of the Daybound/Nightbound mechanic, it would be nice if the Life Tracker in Companion had an option to enable a Day/Night Tracker that shows up near the middle, allowing players around the table to easily see if it's day or night.

Can’t see backs of cards in database
When looking in the cards database of companion, I can’t see the back/Night faces of cards.
I looked in the database for the new Arlinn.
Found it, clicked on it, and saw its two names separated by //
In the page, I couldn’t find the second face, not picture or text.
When I went out to look for the name of the back, I couldn’t fins that listed among the cards.
I have no way of getting all the information of the double faced cards through this app.19 votesWe are currently working on this feature! Thanks for taking the time to post.

Bring back DCI
I’m currently in a large event that is trying to use the companion app. This is vastly worse set up and organized that any event I have ever seen using the dci system. The games don’t get organized or assigned correctly, and the judging staff is basically having to say “ignore the app” multiple times per minute. In addition, forcing events to use the app requires all participants to have a smart phone, with signal, and batteries, which is not universal. It also forces all participants to have a magic arena login. This app is very gatekeep-y and really not…

Companion App incorrect filtering & slow
Companion app has completely incorrect results when searching for cards where CMC == 0.
The app (Android) is also very slow to load assets at the beginning of the experience -- especially when compared to Gatherer. If anything, please just stop forcing a banner to switch to the companion app whenever I open Gatherer. If it continues, I'm just switching over to scryfall and not looking back.

Please on in person events provide an opt out on displaying your arena name on pairings.

search for cards using other cards in the card database
i wuld like the feature to when i look at cards i wuld like to be able to do this:
1. press on the artist for geting to look att cards only he or she has made.
2. press on the set on the cards for only cards in that set.
take this Black Lotus for example i wuld like to be able to press the name of the legendary Christopher Rush for all the cards he has ilustrated or press alpha in set line for searching1 vote -
card legality misstake
some of the cards in the card database has the wrong legality.
as almost everyone knows is black loutus banned in all formats exept for one.

Database Doesn't Show Triomes when Searching by Color
Good Morning MTG Staff,
I am just emailing concerning the app, love it by the way. I just noticed some issues. I noticed that when you search up lands and put what color mana you do or do not want in the rules text the lands double faced lands, the ones with spells on the other side instead of the land, do not show up. The spells that transform/flip to lands do though. Also when I searched up desert with restrictions on what colors and can and cannot produce it still showed all of them. Pairings Disappear
Pairings disappear on opening the application, meaning I frequently have to ask the TO who and where I'm playing.
