To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down

Reporting a bug
There is an issue with discarding down to the stock normal hand size when a players turn is over. For instance, when using Dragonweave Tapestry and getting quite the handful of cards after casting some spells, the game says how many cards need to be discarded to get down to the maximum hand size allowed. After selecting how many need to go, the “submit” feature to discard down doesn’t prompt, and the player literally loses all their time because the cards won’t discard.
This is on an iPad - iOS.

Companion/Lurrus not available in Brawl
I've been using my Amalia Benavides Brawl deck with Lurrus of the Dream Den as a companion for quite some time. Starting yesterday, Lurrus is no longer showing up in gameplay. I have tried both regular Brawl and Competitive Brawl and have not seen Lurrus once. I know Lurrus is still in my deck, in my companion slot, so I'm not sure what's going on, but it's removing a critical tool from my deck.

Other languages and prints of cards
Hello.
It would be great to open the different versions of the cards that the search results give.
For example, if I look for "Terror", I get the Dominaria Remastered print, but I cannot see the 4th Edition version, or the French version. The Gatherer allows to change the set and the language, the Companion should be able to do this as well.
Other example, come cards of Fallen Empires have alternate arts. Only one art is available. e.g. "Homarid" has 4 different arts, only one is available. This issue is shared with the Gatherer, but third-party apps have this…1 vote -
Enable card search in any language and with partial strings
Hello.
It would be greater than great if the Companion allowed to search for cards in other languages than English. I use French and German cards, and if I search for a name in French, I don't fing anything. For instance, if I search for "Crinière", I should find "Ajani Goldmane" ("Ajani Crinièredor" in French).
Third-party apps are able to do that. Unless the Gatherer's database needs to be fully redone, it shouldn't be difficult.1 vote -

Card scrolling
Please Bring Back swiping between card searches in Companion app.
I don’t know what happened since an update, but in the “Companion” app for Magic, we seem to have lost a feature that I personally enjoyed very much.
I used to click on “cards” in the bottom corner, then “advance search”, and look up a subtype of card. Say “Angels” for example. I then could click on the first card that was brought up, read all about it and see the art work, and when I was done, I could swipe left and it would show me the next card,…

Unable to log in to MTG Compani
I am unable to log in to the MTG Companion app.
Issue: Cannot log in from the MTG Companion login screen.
Environment:
• Device: iPhone 17
• iOS version: 26.3.1
• Language: Japanese
• App version: 1.11.7
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attempt to log in from all login screens in the Companion app.
Actual Behavior: The loading animation plays for about 2 seconds, then returns to the login screen.
Login is not successful.

Store Reviews not prompting
Store TO here,
We have been told repeatedly that there are prompted reviews on companion, and that we need to be encouraging players to complete these reviews in order to obtain/ remain tier 6. Every time we have asked players to please fill out the reviews, we are told that they are not seeing it populate. Tonight i joined one of our events as a test, and was not prompted to leave a review during or after the event. Can we get more information about what players should be seeing on their end? Do “player list only” events not prompt…

Leaving an event
I recently wanted to check out an event's description in more detail but it only had the companion code and entered it to read more about an upcoming event. I realized it didn't let me leave the event afterwards and there is a small fee for signing up and not showing up so I managed to cancel it just in time through a phone call as the store was about to close.
