To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Update app icon for circular bubble
On my Android device all of the app icons are circles, but the MTG companion app icon is a tiny square inside of a circle.
It looks terrible.
Probably not hard to fix, please fix for immediate QoL for anybody like me who has a phone with circular app bubbles

I'm trying to run team trios for my store and I realized that there is no option for team events.

Dropped from event
I have been dropped from the event I'm trying to participate in and now I can't collect any winnings as I m not on the event anymore

App doesn’t keep track of time in round
The app should really keep track of time in round, it’s rather inconvenient as is.

Poison Counters Missing
I’m using the companion app to track life playing pre-release with friends at work. With poison counters back in standard with Fynn, I’ve noticed that there’s no way to add said counters when you have the “Limited” or “Standard” format selected. I mean it’s not the end of the world to have to choose one of the other formats when setting up a game tracker, but it would be nice just to have the additional counters added to a 3rd page past the mana ones or on the same page as the additional mana counters

Can't add players to my local event.
Hi,
I can open an event (I have now 3 private ones on my list).
When I Klick on the textfeld to add another player the keyboard flashes up and closes immediately.
So no chance to enter another player.Reinstalling the app doesn't help. (So newest android version)
Sidenote, I'm judge for a store and events I create at Eventlink also show up in my list.
But there are some bugs if I want to control those events via Companion app.As an Idea, you could add the magic story's texts as a Thing.
The story really get lost in…

Notifications for Dropped Event
I was dropped by the owner from an event. This was good, as I couldn't make it. But all night, I kept getting notifications from Companion about the event! Round starting, round ending, event details, it was constant -- for an event I did not attend, and was dropped from! Turn notifications off for dropped ppl!
Noticed this exact idea was posted before and an employee replied "soon" in 2021. I had no idea, it's 2025 and this is my first impression of this app. That's not a great sign!

Link and sync mtga with companion app, and mtga assistant.
Link and sync the companion, mtga, and mtga assistant apps together. So we can have a fully functional system for all are magic the gathering needs. It would help competitive players alot.

Widescreen Bug STILL EXISTING AFTER 3 YEARS
The bug where Arena drops out of Fullscreen resolution for widescreen monitors every time you click on anything in the game is back with this latest update.
It sucks, and this time a registry edit doesn't fix it. Y'all need to either fix this stupid stupid bug or stop doing updates that undo our homemade fixes of this stupid problem. Seriously, fixing this will take one person one afternoon to make it not be a problem ever again. I'd do it for you, but you can't afford my rates

Could not register on app for tournament
Hi, I couldn't register for a tournament via the app, the store had to manually do it for me. Even after they did, I still couldn't "join" the tournament on my app, my opponents had to submit the w/l records.
