it should just be banned, this kind of cards are no fun to play… Especially in the online version. There are similar options to get multiplication of tokens, without exploiting a stupid loop like Scute Farm does (come in, Landfall implies land, how can someone get access to 200+ tockens with it without having a stupid bug that gives creature a All type, including Land, which is formerly against the rule: Land isn’t a creature type!!!). Several immature trolls have figured out it will always break the game and play it now widely in the historic format, again. This + stupid alchemy version of cards make Arena too often a pain to play, yet it’s maybe a question of generation, the young ones seems to enjoy an overly abusive and agressive internet, probably a catharsis effect in a « difficult » world. I just continue to kill time every now and then on Arena, but as soon as I figured out (after 50$) that this version of Magic was closer to a slot machine with quite predictable outcome from the opening hand « draw » thanks to this kind of cards, I also definitely stopped to put any money in it…

It’s a critical issue. In my case, without this repeated bug (opponent managed to get up to 3 out during the game), I would have definitely won earlier in a pure control game, I was all the way long “what the ****, how can he get 2 life points each end of turn when card states 1!). This ruins the experience. Bellow, screenshots before I definitely quit the game, since he was finally able to remove anything, and more (kudos for the bug exploit by the way, dear opponent).

Same here : also missing the two starter decks, which I could got in pre-release from my local store… This update looks a bit spooky.

Well, last update bought us indeed a step closer to complete non-sense. A deck which had 55% winrate is now down to 28%. Another, wich had 48% prior to the last update is now down below 20%. And so on. 6 loss in a row, 1 win, 3 losses, 4 losses, and... 1 win. 3 losses... etc. While it was already quite easy to guess before the latest update, I can even predict the course of couple of games in advance now, it's so scripted that it's quite frightening. And talking about wins... I now win usually only to someone who, like me, see what will arrive once the opening hand is set, and concede in the first two turns. I had matches lasting up to 50 minutes, now 3 minutes is a big maximum. Lots of changes within a week. Don't count on me to put a single $ in the online game, it's all going in physical cards, at least, there is still some sport in the IRL game. The online one will definitely never become a major eSport hit, it's to much pay-for-win oriented... It felt quite already the case on the mobile version, while the PC version seemed still decent, but now, MTGA has turned for me into a not even frustrating anymore casual WC game. I'm all with the ones who are feeling the same in this thread. The ones who say "na, you are just loosers, the game is fine and perfectly balanced" are either trolls or pigeons. And both are sad human beings...

It’s indeed generating frustrating and unfair games. The algorithm seems to be incapable in most cases of balancing mana drop between opponents, which turns greatly in favor of 150+ decks. Even if very hard to play, until 150 cards can be beaten by a very, very well built 60 cards deck, but against more cards it makes the game completely unstable. Add to the fact that the matchmaking algorithm tend to place well built 60 cards against these nearly unbeatable 150+ games. So basically, it leads to the understanding that to win and rank up after a certain level (Platinum 2 or 3 apparently), a player will have no other option than to meta like **** a 250 cards deck, generating a stupid game of copycats. As Garfield said in a recent interview, the main issue in Magic is that the deck often plays against you. Here, it’s a perfect example of this statement! Create a separate virtual league for 60+ decks, make it Magic again for fair player, ***** the trolls…
