The game cannot start and keep relaunch once after another.
It shows:"Asset Error Detected""Arena will relaunch to verify asset contents."
My mobile phone is Huawei Honor 30.

This fixed the problem for me:

1) uninstall
2) search for all "wizards of the coast" folders and delete
3) Run CCleaner and repair registry
4) reinstall

this just started for me i can not play at all. if this doesn't get fixed I'm going to need a refund of some type I have over a thousand dollars into this game. if I cant play it I want my my money back.

I am having the same issue. Used 3rd party uninstaller, fresh install after system restart. Every time I open the program, I get the same "asset error detected" message when in the "loading card database" step of startup and the game relaunches forever until I alt-f4 out of it.

Same for me, although I can't play at all. When I get the error message, and click OK, MTGA relaunches, checks assets, gives the same error message. This loop doesnt end until I Ctrl-F4 the program.

Clean uninstall and reinstall changes nothing.

I have been having this since the latest November 2020 update. Used 3rd party uninstall tool recommended by support, then reinstalled the game. It starts to load but cannot go past the "loading initial screen" phase and exits after a couple of minutes.

I am completely unable to play. Launching results in an asset error that then crashes when it reaches 100%

Same for me, every time a start Arena it checks asset files, doesn't matter how I quit the game

I am also having this error every time I open Arena, even when I exit the program normally.

I am getting this error every time I log in, with no apparent crash beforehand. (Windows 10, nVidia GTX 880M laptop)

I am using MTGAHelper, but I cannot imagine that is the problem, considering how many other people are having the issue.

Same problem. Especially terrible when it happens while you are trying to reconnect after buggy internet booted you out of ongoing game.

I receive an "Asset Error Detected" message when I launch MTGA and my daily quests don't ever appear. Whenever I open the program, it says its 6:00+ hours from my next quest.
