unable to submit deck friendly play
hi, i tried playing a friendly game between me and my wife and it keeps saying unable to submit deck, i just played on monday with my wife and had zero issues it seems that this new update has messed with our accounts pretty bad. please fix this i greatly appreciate it

Lost all afternoon trying play the new cards with my wife. The error alternated between my account and hers not being able to connect for a direct challenge; but it never worked. Tried all manner of suggested fixes online but nothing worked. I put in a customer service request to refund my money since we can't play cards.

Same issue for me - both my kids have an account, only one of them has the issue playing with the others. So asinine- thats the way I introduced them to magic, and now its a constant source of friustration. Way to build a brand for new customers, WOTC!!!

My friend and I started having this issue a few weeks ago, after nearly 2 years of playing against each other using direct challenge without incident. We have only been able to successfully direct play a couple times out of 5-6 days we tried over the past few weeks. I am able to play other types of matches with no problem, it just seems to be the direct challenge that's not working. Rebooting, disabling firewall, flushing DNS, etc. have not helped. This is extremely frustrating! Please prioritize fixing this recurring, intermittent issue!!

Unable to submit deck error keeps coming up in friends/direct challenge no matter what deck, sleeves, mode selected. This seems to be an ongoing bug that people get and it needs to be fixed, its impossible to play with friends.

I've been having this issue for weeks when trying to play with my friends. Since this thread is well over two years old, I'm left to assume that WotC doesn't actually care enough to solve it, despite telling me that they're aware of it and that it is a high priority issue. I'm no longer interested in playing this game at all. This company makes too much money from it to have not solved this issue by now, considering the number of replies to this thread even in just the last few days.

Every time I try to play with my friend, this comes up. extremely frustrating, we waste a ton of time. I bounce between my Mac and my Android trying to make it work, but nothing. I've tried the dozens of weird work arounds on reddit, and nothing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It feels like when it doesn't work, it's "Sticky"

This has been becoming more and more frequent since the release of Eldraine. I think it's time this gets some focus. We have a play group on Arena of about 10 people, and every week, a random person gets this bug and can't play. It's a different person every week, too, so there's no rhyme or reason to who gets to sit out in a week.
Way past time this gets resolved.

And once again, I have this bug. I've contacted WotC customer service, who did absolutely nothing. I have spent real money on this game, and primarily use to play against friends. Well now I can't. You all just updated, UPDATA, the game, and nothing. How? How is this possible that on the day you update a game, you all also break it for me and others, and I'm guessing dozens to hundreds of other players, if not thousands. Do something, anything, even if its just a developer posting on this thread that you're all looking into the issue.
-side note, after contacting customer support again, this was their response "We are aware of the issue and treating it as a high-priority to fix. Unfortunately at this time we do not have an update or ETA on when this will be fixed. There is a Feedback thread customer have been reporting the issue here if you wish to add to it. Thank you for your patience." For an issue that has been going on for years, where multiple people have posted logs, and they have no idea when this will be fixed, I find that hard to believe.

This is unfortunately just as bad as ever. I was in an 8-person player-run tournament and 5 of the 8 hit the bug at some point in the event.

Every time i try and start a game playing against a friend i get this bug. Things ive tried:
uninstalling, reinstalling
uninstalling, installing on epic games launcher
running as administrator
turning off windows firewall
flushing DNS
taking off card sleeves
takins off lands and using basic lands
the game seems to work on my brothers account, but not on mine. Not sure what the issue is. -

Direct and Friend challenges are not functioning properly. Either cant connect to server or unable to submit deck or what ever it is. There have been posts littering the forum with this issue for weeks if not months and nothing is being done about it, the problem persists for over a month....YOUR DOING SOMEHTING WRONG!!!!! Your players are telling you your game does not work and it still hasnt been fixed.

How can you expect to have a reliable playerbase when you cant even host a reliable game. This bug has now plagued so many would be game nights we tried to play magic and has torpedoed my friends Magic Arena Tournament League. We cannot reliably play direct games and friend games means nothing other than your customers cannot play your game. Nothing should be a higher priority than this!!!!!!

Steps to reproduce the bug: challenge a friend to a friendly brawl
Which platform I’m using ( both using apple iOS)
Results i’m experiencing: waiting for server leads to warning screen, stating no connection
Expected results of the feature: game default two check. Status reconnect or log out.

Run into an error when trying to play with friends, this is the second time it has happened. People give you 1000s on 1000s dollars at least make arena playable and enjoyable

My friend and I ran into this issue today and I'm very bummed I wont be able to play with him as he's a new player and wants to test out his decks against someone more experienced like myself.
