Having the same issue. I'm on a Macbook Pro, 14-inch, Apple M4, Nov 2024 (16GB) running macOS 26.1. MTGA loads, plays, but when I try to spend money on gems, I get "Waiting for the Server," and the spinning wheel. I can close MTGA without Force Quitting, though. Super annoying. My network is stable, I've uninstalled/reinstalled, switched to Google DNS, flushed the dns cache, and oh yeah, turned it on and off again a few times.

I have the same problem, the server lost the connection with matchdoor-mtga-production-2024-44-0-2.w2.mtgarena.com API so show on log Inactivity timeout, somebody can help me?

All other online games work without problems, and in Arena I still have waiting for server bug!

In my case I often get "waiting for server" when in the middle of a match. It has been happening more frequently recently.

You're not alone I haven't been able to get in for the last two days. It just keeps saying waiting for server until it says Unable to get Collection. Then it has the nerve to say my internet is down, I'M RUNNING THREE BACKGROUND PROGRAMS AND YOUTUBE WHILE I PLAY.

**For months, I've encountered a "waiting for server" message when attempting in-game purchases. The game remains stuck until I restart. I've restarted the client and redownloaded it (as suggested by support), but the issue persists. As a long-time Magic fan and player, this is frustrating.

Please investigate further Wizards and fix this!

This is ridiculous. Using Macbook Pro, using Epic games launcher, literally can't pay $100 for gems. Stuck on "Waiting for Server" for a million hours. Do these guys want our money or not??? They are literally losing cash.

Please fix this critical issue. Since the update Thunder Junction, starting the game, finding a game or finishing a game to go to menu will be met with long "waiting for ther server..." black screen. It didn't used to be this slow. I haven't been playing much or enjoying the last update since this technical issue.

Please expand your server capacity and have CDN internationally, not just in the US.

This is happening to me only when I want to pay. If I click on any store item that I want to pay with real money, it gets stuck in "Waiting for Server". Even if I want to "change payment method". So I don't even know what payment method is registered to the account.

It's mostly a shame for WotC as they are the ones missing my money... I'm willing to spend it! Hahahah.

Still happening, especially when you are mid-game and then it never reconnects, even though you can hear your timeout countdown running out. The reconnect button is absolutely worthless as the game never reconnects. Alt+F4 r.i.p.

First time player and I was looking forward to playing this game, but now I can't even finish a match against a bot without being booted out of the game with "waiting for server". Plus all the insane waiting just when playing cards.

My internet is fine as well btw, I've never had a problem with any other game.

If has become the norm since a couple of days ago...

This has been a trend now, it's been happening in random games for a month. This never happened with my other games, where in I'll have an internet connection or issue. Fix this please!

Was in the middle of a draft game. Opponent looks to have gone afk, was timing out but before finishing got a message waiting for server. This hung for a bit then I closed and reopened client, reconnected to the game but client froze on entering match. Restarted client again and made it into match but a few turns passed and stil had the waiting for server message. Connection remained okay through the whole issue

The "waiting for server" message is just draining out my patience and will to play the game. It displays everytime i change menu on the arena client. Accessing the store takes up to 5 seconds with that message popping on the screen. I recall couple days coming home late and not being able to complete dailies cause game didn't load past that message. Next day was running properly whitout any futher action. I still remember when arena client and fast and efficient and not running on potato servers. If wizards and hasbro are not willing to reinvest profits ir order to improve products people will spend money elsewhere.

During the game 'waiting for server' suddenly appeared, and there was no response but to wait. However, the game was still running normally, forcing a push to log in but unable to log in, displaying an error code of '-1'. This problem has been bothering me for a while, please let me know how to solve it!

This ******* game have a trash server. I can't play because the server doesn't work, loading a "waiting for server" screen when my connection is stable. So much money raised from players and you don't have a decent server !
