network error - unable to get collection
Can't get in to the main user interface. Can't attach a log when no access to the main menu.
Error displayed: Network error - unable to get collection.
The client asks either to reconnect, log off or check Arena status server (all operational).
Restarted my PC, restarted my internet modem+router. Still same error.
I logged in earlier 6 hours ago, no such problem.

Been persistent for 2 days. Did a clean install and still the same problem. I literally logged out for 5 minutes to do something and when I tried logging back it I got the error. Have not been able to get into the game since.

Am also having this problem as of today, fine yesterday. Have tried deleting logs, deleting cache, reinstalling , flush dns and winsock and change to public dns on ipv4, restarting as necessary for each
Will try again tomorrow.

unable to login for hours now.
"unable to get collection."
I am a new player, so quite disheartening.

So after about a week of being able to connect only during a 2-3 hour window around 1:00am PST, today I'm getting the network error every time even during that very limited play period... boy do I regret reinstalling this game (and buying my first Revised Starter Deck way back in the day)!

I just reinstalled MTGA, and after only a week I'm encountering this network error more often than not (while traveling in Asia). I have tried almost every fix in this and other forums (e.g., deleting the logs and raw card database, flushing DNS and Winsock Reset, using a VPN), none of which seem to make a difference. I am pretty certain this is a WTOC server-side issue, as I was able to connect for a few hours (probably when the US player count was lower) but now encounter the same network issue, having changed nothing on my end between connecting and having a network error. Anyway, I just wanted to add my voice to this thread, as nobody's dropped a comment in August, but the error certainly persists.
Thankfully this happened right before I was about to purchase the Bloomburrow mastery pass, and I'll be reluctant to purchase any mastery passes in the future for fear I'll get locked out of my account again for extended periods and be unable to accumulate XP.

Hello everyone,
I'm playing this game regularly since 2018 (100% f2p). In the last three years or so, this problem re-occured again and again! Mostly around the time a new deck comes out or the related update just has hit.
And yesterday evening, it started again!
Sadly, the technical troubleshooting section does not help, nor does google. This time, I tied the Steam version via Linux Mint. Then switched to Windows 10 with the Arena Launcher.
With both ways, I ran into the same issue.=> With mobile via WLAN, connected to the same router it has worked today!!
Please fix this!!! If I wouldn't have been able to purchase the season pass today, it would be gone and I would have stopped with Magic Arena forever. Arena has gotten more of a duty than being fun!
BTW: Usually, after around 1-2 weeks the problem magically disappears. I'm from Germany.

No news on support? Did the dns flush with no results. If I'm going to lose days of xp for mastery pass (which i've BOUGHT) I'm gonna sue Wizards from my country.
