Witness protection bug - creature kept one of its abilities
I casted Witness protection on ashaya soul of the wild. It became 1/1 as it should, but all of my oponent creatures were still forests, which resulted in losing the game after he casted tatyova, benthic druid. Each creature ETB started giving him cards, because they were considered lands, when they should not.

Same situation. Witness Protection on Ashaya, turned her into a Legitimate Businessperson with no abilities, but all my opponent’s creatures were still lands. Even after stealing it with Coerced to Kill, it still turned my creatures into lands, and when that was removed it continued to make my opponent’s creatures into lands again.

A year and a half and this bug is still happening?
I'm just disappointed. Had this exact happen a few minutes ago. I guess we just shouldn't run witness protection. -

Had the same problem. On the first cast it worked as usual, but when I returned the card from the graveyard, with the help of go-shintai of life's origin, but ashaya soul of the wild kept its abilities
