Performance degrades when using mouse polling rates over 1000Hz
I have a few different gaming mice and recently switched to a Razer Viper 8k. I've found that when the polling rate of my mouse is set over 1000, the framerate in MTGA begins to drop when the mouse is moved.
Using the Razer Synapse software, I can set the polling rate 1000, 2000, 4000, and 8000. I've not had issues with any other games when using the 8000Hz polling rate. When I use this setting in MTGA, I literally have to stop moving my mouse for a second in order to click on a card or button, then I can drag and release. If I try to click while moving the mouse at this polling rate, I miss click 100% of the time (mouse speed is not impacted). With a polling rate set to 2000 or higher, I can sit at the main menu and move my mouse around and see the frames skip.
With the polling rate set at 1000Hz, the frame rate is fine as it has always been, regardless of which mouse I use. I only have one mouse that can do over 1000 on the polling rate.
It's not a huge issue, but it took me a few weeks to figure out what was going on.
