Not only is connecting a Historic/Friendly Brawl against a friend convoluted in it's execution. It's now broken and extremely frustrating to constantly get disconnected and have the game lock up. This happens on mobile and PC. My decks are being put in as having errors for no reason since all cards in my deck are legal in the format and editing them constantly to make them show up as an option to play then get dumped back at the bottom of the page as unplayable again a day or so later is ridiculous. Please fix this soon as I am unable to play with my spouse and enjoy an evening game of digital magic. Table top it is until you get your bugs squashed.

Adding log information. Hopefully helpful. This is the player.log in APPDATA location. It should contain only a log info related to:
1. Opening the game via Steam
2. Immediately selecting direct-play, choosing standard/best-of-3, selecting my opponent's name, selecting a deck
3. Hitting "Play", and receiving the related error after a short delay -

There are hundreds of reports of this issue and up-votes across your support forum (here is another example: https://feedback.wizards.com/forums/918667-mtg-arena-bugs-product-suggestions/suggestions/44049276-unable-to-submit-deck-friendly-play) and when we contact support they just tell us this is a known issue and to add our up-vote to threads like the one I linked.
Why then, is it not listed as a known issue?

Acknowledge the issue since it's literally unplayable... we cannot connect to friends and play, which is the core base expectation of the service... In any other application this would be considered a top priority, unbreak-now situation with status on the main page until resolved... it's Magic "the gathering" and we can't actually gather/connect and play. Please take it seriously.... you have people that pay literally thousands of dollars to gather & play with friends. There is no other game that collects thousands of dollars from customers and its completely inoperable.

This app is a joke. It's essentially a digital storefront for cards you can't actually play because the game can't even match you up properly. Consider yourselves cut off from my wallet, Wizards.

C'mon dvper team. You have the best tcg out there. Please, stop ruining it with this poor attention to multiplayer. The shops works just fine. PLEASE, don't destroy this beautifull license that is MTG. Ok we can pay 11 euros for 4 rare jokers... Ok we can pay for almost anything a huge price. But please, fix the multiplayer, and work on the 2v2. Thank you very much. Not gonna put any money again if this is not seriously considered.

Running community tournaments has been impossible for over a month now, if not more. The recent update made it even worse (even fewer direct challenges seem to be going through). Please fix this as soon as possible. This is really unacceptable and I'm considering not contributing another dime to the in-game store until this is fixed.

This feature not working between my wife and I is a huge bummer. It was helping us learn our cards digitally before doing paper.
This has been an issue for apparently over a year based on reddit. And this post is from over a month ago?

I've had this issue for MONTHS, which has worsened since the Ixalan update. It's infuriating that my partner and I spent money on this set, and we can't even enjoy it together. My partner works in QA so we've done extensive troubleshooting on our ends. We will not be spending any more money on Arena, that's for sure. Seriously feels like we got ripped off, especially since this critical issue isn't even a priority to WOTC.
