issues with sludge monster
Sludge monster states that upon entering the battlefield and when it attacks Target non-horror creature loses all abilities and becomes a 2/2.
The card does not state that upon destroying slush monster that creature gains its abilities back.
In this game I played slush monster and Targeted it Kenrith The returned King. When my opponent destroyed my slush monster Kenrith regained its abilities and power and toughness.
I've also played games before when I've targeted an opponent's creature with my sludge monster, is lost his abilities and upon my opponent destroying my creature they did not gain their abilities back.
Which is it? The game is not doing the great job discerning how it is supposed to operate.
And none of these instances did I target a horror creature

If the other creature remained a 2/2 with no abilities while no Sludge Monster was on the field, then yes, that would be a bug.
But the card does not have to state that the Monster has to stay on the field to have its effect. The structure of the wording and the rules make it so already. 113.2c tells you, that the counter placing and the ability removing (plus p/t setting) are seperate abilities due to the paragraph break. 113.3d states, that the later ability works only with the Sludge Monster in play.
113.2c An object may have multiple abilities. If the object is represented by a card, then aside from
certain defined abilities that may be strung together on a single line (see rule 702, “Keyword
Abilities”), each paragraph break in a card’s text marks a separate ability. If the object is not
represented by a card, the effect that created it may have given it multiple abilities. An object
may also be granted additional abilities by a spell or ability. If an object has multiple instances
of the same ability, each instance functions independently. This may or may not produce more
effects than a single instance; refer to the specific ability for more information.113.3d Static abilities are written as statements. They’re simply true. Static abilities create
continuous effects which are active while the permanent with the ability is on the battlefield and
has the ability, or while the object with the ability is in the appropriate zone. See rule 604,
“Handling Static Abilities.” -

@Rezzanhan. The card does not state that at all. And that doesn't explain why in the instance when an opponent destroyed my sludge monster, it still Lost its abilities and was a 2/2. Even though there were no other sludge monsters in play. Even the counter doesn't remove when sludge monster is destroyed. If the static ability is the case then it should be stated on the card for full context and clarification

Read the card again. Sludge Monster gives a counter to the creature, and makes every creature with that tpye of counter on it a 2/2 with no abilities. The later is a static ability, that functions only while the Monster is on the batlefield (or another one is). It'll be active again with a new Sludge Monster coming to the battlefield. In your later scenario you likely had another one out already. One is all you need to neutralize all creatures with ***** counters on them. Those do not have to come from that particular copy.
