Autoplay / Action capture and replay function NEEDED
Magic is complex. And MTGA only appears to be growing. Combos will continue to pop up. Like self fuelling loops. Sometimes you need 300 life and only gain 1 life with 2 or 3 clicks. Its doable and in paper we short cut this.
MTGA doesnt and really should. You have a recorder. Turn that on and click through until you are back at your starting condition. Then play that back to establish what an iteration looks like. Then define i==. For when i>1 and i<9002.
While you are working on this, don’t actually show each animation. BUT let opponent scroll through the timeline of when i=N or i=N-1, or where ever opponent pleases to interrupt the combo.
Maybe opponent can end the turn and thus cause the combing player to deck as their next draw is forced when they have an empty library. Basically opponent needs to scrub through the timeline to see when they should interact.
Lastly the client needs to be more comfortably handle large values. Creating 256 tokens should be EASY for the client and server to handle. Especially if you want proper 4 player commander on MTGA. (which can and should be done)
