Alchemy
Sick of losing in games to stupid unbalanced alchemy cards.....keep alchemy to alchemy games. I don't like it and it ruins all the other game modes. You should be able, at least, to toggle alchemy off so you are not matched against any decks with alchemy cards. It's a rubbish format that has to default to it when choosing a game to falsy show it's been played when most ppl play by accident.

Agreed losing to an Alchemy card that gave a blue and white deck demonic tutor to win the game is super annoying. Breaks the whole magic logic like *** Wizards why would you even allow this???

Standard and Explorer are the Alchemy-free formats

Separating alchemy from the other formats, or making separated play options. I dont like having to be forced into playing with these cards, i want to be able to choose if i will play with or without alchemy cards in the game

I agree, I play Historic Brawl on MTGA for the same reason I play face to face commander, so if it can't be done in commander, historic brawl should also not be allowed. Maybe give the Alchemy their own brawl format separate from Historic Brawl

Alchemy cards are blatantly unfair. There is a commander who gives you the power 9 (banned cards in all formats) to your hand, a commander that copies the lands you play, cards that give you cards that aren't in your deck or side board.
What are you meant to do against these cards when you are playing legitiment cards. The only alternative to compete is to play these types of cards which makes the game generally unfun and unenjoyable.
Please leave alchemy cards to their own format.

I feel what you feel, I just concede when an opponent plays an alchemy card in historic brawl

I second your complaint, either dump Alchemy, or have it separate from the other fun formats and keep alchemy for the alchemy fans away from the rest of us paper magic fans.

Also, they should remove alchemy from Historic brawl, or make its own brawl separate from it so I can stop playing against anything with perpetual and seek in its description or mechanics.
I play MTGA to simulate the paper experience I can no longer afford to play, and these digital only cards with their un-"Magic the Gathering"- like effects are making the format not fun anymore. -

Here's my idea, leave Alchemy cards in the Alchemy format.
Why tf do I have to play against them in other formats?

I hate alchemy and I hope that Arena will slowly work towards a real commander format with 100 cards and multiplayer. When that finally happens I deeply hope alchemy cards aren't in that format or I will refuse to play it. I only play against real magic cards.

I just insta concede whenever I see an alchemy card. Sad that at least 40% of my games end that way. Here is hoping I won't have to do this forever.

Congratulations. 14% of games are Alchemy. You haven't broken down just how much of brawl play is Historic Brawl, but with overall Brawl play superseding Alchemy and Historic eclipsing Alchemy by over 10% of total play numbers, I wish you would stop making digital-only designs. It's all that keeps me from resuming Historic play, and I am still absolutely livid you believe it's okay to call Spreading Seas too powerful, and print the digital-only, pub-stomping nonsense you do. I'm still conceding against literally any Alchemy Commander. If I see two Alchemy-only cards played in a row, I'm out. Acknowledge that people hate Alchemy. Stop making excuses.

I personally hate alchemy. Is totally useless and that broken cards have to disappear from format like brawl and historic

Alcamy was already bad for historic brawl the addition of lord of the rings cards have made alot of decks no longer viable, the ability to make your win con unblockable and win reliability on turn 5 means 4/5/6/7 drop commanders can no longer be played

Alchemy is a failure of a format, but WOTC will never admit to it, so they'll feel forced to keep it around in historic and hbrawl because those are the only played formats where the cards are legal. Wotc additionally hate Brawl players anyway, so they want you to suffer for their incompetence.

Would be good, but will never happen, sadly. Alchemy is only relevant in Hbrawl and Historic and Wizards needs something to push this trashy format into.

Unfortunately wizards will never do this because alchemy is a stupid embarassment and HBrawl is one of the only formats it sees play.

I use Historic Brawl to playtest REAL cards in a format which is the closest relative to EDH. Separate alchemy from historic brawl! It's hard enough reading a double sided card when you're on a timer let alone a specialize card with 5 different variations. Also Oracle of the Alpha was a mistake, especially in a format with a max deck size. The fact that only blue players can play a card which adds 9 cards to a 100 card limit deck and the fact that those cards are not available to other players in the format unless they play oracle is not a balanced feature. Conjuring as well is adding cards past the max card limit and seek is not a mechanic that can exist in real game play. None of these Alchemy mechanics are fun to play against as they break the traditional gameplay laws that exist. I understand balancing certain cards but keep alchemy in it's own category.

Opt out of Alchemy. Don't let opponents play the broken, paypig baiting cards against you because you probably don't run them either unless you are ****** sweatlord suckling and apologizing at Arena's ***.
