black crystal/ sepiroth, fabled solider
Sephiroth, fabled solider's ability states that when a creature dies. Black crystal states when a creature would die, exile it instead. I had a black crystal in play and my opponent was using sepiroth , when he was sacrificing creatures with sepiroth his do 1 damage, gain 1 life and draw a card ability should not have triggered as the creatures were not dying, they were being exiled.

The Darkness Crystal:
"If a NONTOKEN creature an opponent controls would die, instead exile it and you gain 2 life."Token creatures still die and trigger Sephiroth.
