Sephiroth Fabled Soldier triggers should go off at the same time as other similar triggers, per the rules, yet they do not.
When playing my Orzhov sacrifice deck just now I ran into a mirror matchup. We both had trigger for creature deaths go off on my opponents turn. I had the emblem after transforming Sephiroth, and my opponent had 2 Vengeful Bloodwitches. His triggers hit first and took me to exactly 0 health, as my triggers should have gone afterwards then and brought me back up. However, the game ended, with my triggers showing they were about to occur but did not. Those triggers are supposed to go off at the exact same time per the rules, yet in arena it causes a unfair loss. Having a raise the past to cast my next turn I would have drained him out for the win, as his bloodwitch only triggers on his own creatures death.

Thank you for the explanation. I was confused, and from what I was finding online about the rule I thought they should trigger at the same time. I still could have won that game if I knew that, was just wrong on my understanding of it.

No, the triggers GO ONTO THE STACK at the same time. But they are put there in APNAP order (active player non-active player) and resolve in the reverse order. So it matters whose turn it is. And state based actions, which check wether a player loses for having 0 or less life among other things, are checked EVERY SINGLE TIME one object on the stack resolves. So there was nothing wrong here, you lost when the drain got you to 0 life, the game ended, and your triggers didn't get a chance to resolve.

Spells and abilities use the stack in the reverse order they were put on there (first in, last out). These spells and abilities never resolve simultaneously. When multiple players have items going on the stack they go on in APNAP order (Active Player, Non-Active Player). This means if you are the AP, your triggers go on the stack first, then your opponents, and your opponents abilities will resolve first.
If you are at 0 or less life when a spell or ability finishes resolving, you lose the game and no other spells or abilities will resolve. Game is over.

I should have saved the screenshot, I didn't think in the moment. Hopefully I explained well enough.
