Witch’s Mark Bug
Witch’s Mark: the text states I may discard then draw 2 cards, THEN it states I may attach a wicked role token to target creature, however in gameplay it attempts to resolve the second effect before the first effect, which can’t be right. When an instant destroys my target creature before the wicked role is attached, the entire spell fizzles. I claim the first effect should be completed prior to the wicked role and potential fizzle effect.

Targets must be chosen when a spell or ability is put on the stack. So this happens way before resolution. On resolution, the effects are applied in the order written. HOWEVER, if the spell has one or more targets, as chosen when the spell was put on the stack, and at the time the spell would resolve none of the chosen targets are legal anymore, the whole spell fizzles. This is a fundamental rule of the game. You do not get any effect from a spell or ability, if it has lost all its targets. You do not get to rechoose targets, nor can you ever choose targets on resolution.
608. Resolving Spells and Abilities
[...]
608.2b If the spell or ability specifies targets, it checks whether the targets are still legal. A target
that’s no longer in the zone it was in when it was targeted is illegal. Other changes to the game
state may cause a target to no longer be legal; for example, its characteristics may have changed
or an effect may have changed the text of the spell. If the source of an ability has left the zone it
was in, its last known information is used during this process. If all its targets, for every instance
of the word “target,” are now illegal, the spell or ability doesn’t resolve. It’s removed from the
stack and, if it’s a spell, put into its owner’s graveyard. [...]
