not sure if its a cheat or a bug but Mattyc420 was casting nia for it's transform cost, not playing it then transforming. According to comprehensive rules transform is an ability that is only available after the permanent is already on the battlefield and the cost cn not be paid for in any other zone.

The Omenpath DFCs are transforming DFCs AND modal DFCs. The backside has a mana cost, and can be cast like any other MDFC. The cost to transaform is usually the same as the backside's mana cost.,
