How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Algorithm Improvement

    I'm sure you're getting a lot of complaints about how one-sided your algorithm is not being impartial and often times screwing over players with land draws that should not be happening in a purely random sample - so my complaint can be added to that pile.

    But, an idea for changing the algorithm to improve randomization would be having the program assign a number to each card remaining in a deck and pile shuffling the cards into X amount of piles (let's say 6). It can repeat this process Y amount of times then take the middle of the pile…

  2. A permanent opt-out feature for the in-game "did you have fun" survey

    Hello MTGA players and devs,

    The in-game "did you have fun" question shows up a lot more recently, typically once every three to five games. There's a skip button for those of us that don't want to answer, but then a few games later it just asks us again.

    Would it be possible to get a more permanent skipping feature? Some kind of checkmark in the game settings where we can opt out of being asked?

  3. Actually do something about the roping problem

    WOTC, PLEASE do something about this problem! For years this has been ongoing and you have done nothing to improve it. This is the #1 most complained about aspect of MTG Arena and you have been absolutely silent on the matter for YEARS. Reduce the turn time; reduce the amount of timeouts people can save up; add an in-game conduct report feature; BAN players who rope; prevent ability to stall by turning on manual control. DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING, PLEASE! And don't tell me we can report it via Wizard support, I know we can do that, and it's not enough,…

  4. product suggestion

    I've been playing Arena since closed beta, and have finally run out of patience. I want to love this client and product, but it is so unoptimised and unreliable across Windows, Mac, and Android that I give up.

    My product suggestion is to please put more people onto your dev team.

  5. Keep Alchemy cards in Alchemy

    Keep Alchemy cards in Alchemy. I feel as though I got ripped off by MTG. I paid money for Mythic Wild cards. I turned one in and the card I got is not what I wanted. I bought The Meathook Manicure to play in Historic as the card was spoiled. I want to play the ORIGINAL version of the card in Historic. Alchemy is a scam designed to rip me off. Money Fraud.

  6. Sparky upgrade

    I wish sparky could use other decks. They could be decks I've made or the free standard arena decks that everyone has.

    Also I wish I could minimize arena to read messages for a quick second without sparky dropping the game.

  9. Take Alchemy out of Historic Brawl

    I use Historic Brawl to playtest REAL cards in a format which is the closest relative to EDH. Separate alchemy from historic brawl! It's hard enough reading a double sided card when you're on a timer let alone a specialize card with 5 different variations. Also Oracle of the Alpha was a mistake, especially in a format with a max deck size. The fact that only blue players can play a card which adds 9 cards to a 100 card limit deck and the fact that those cards are not available to other players in the format unless they play…

    Please release a multiplayer commander for the arena as well as tabletop.
    Of course, it needs to be adapted to Arena, such as Standard and Historic.

    The recent Magic expansions have been very interesting and I have been recommending them to my friends so we can all get together and play Magic.

  11. Mythic Rare Wildcard from Mastery Pass Reward not being added to user account

    1. Reach level 65 of Crimson Vow Mastery
    2. PC
    3. Not getting a Mythic Rare Wildcard
    4. Getting a Mythic Rare Wildcard

    This happened not only once.

    It seems rather suspicious, that somehow out of all the Mastery Pass Rewards, only the Mythic Rare Wildcards don't drop as a reward in the Crimson Vow Mastery Pass.

    I would love to play historic, but I hate alchemy and how cards are balanced for historic. Can we get a historic without alchemy or alchemy balanced cards?

  13. Support for Infinite Combo Win

    Please add support for Infinite Combo victories. Just add a button that allows us to demonstrate the combo, then allow us to iterate that several times until needed. I've lost several matches where I've had the combo to win, but was timed out. Iteration isn't necessary, but demonstration of the combo, and declared victory should be added.

    It is extremely easy to get GreErrors causing the game to end in a draw when in reality you should win. With ratadrabik on the board with Mondrak if you play Jaxis for it's biltz cost, use his ability to target ratadrabik and usually this is enough to cause the game to lock up until it ends with GreError Winner: Draw. However there are other ways to do it such as vesuvan diplomacy with mondrak or ratadrabik, can also be caused with things like ratadrabik and drivnod, or anything that causes a bunch of tokens with a creature that triggers…

  15. Rigged

    WOTC needs to fix their match pairing, I could build a brand new list that I just crafted, and get paired against an anti list that will win every game. No matter the scheme I choose this happens. It’s obvious the shuffler is designed to create “interesting” game swings, and the match pairings favor anyone streaming to an audience. This is clearly game manipulation and when there is money on the line for tournaments, that is the epitome of illegal.

  16. Alchemy

    Alchemy as an "alternate Standard" is a fun idea that I don't mind -- while I like Standard, being able to switch back and forth between Standard and Alchemy without too much hassle (and getting to play a new format with most of the same cards if Standard is stale) is great. But I am super unhappy about the rebalanced cards being the versions legal in Historic and Historic Brawl. This deeply harms the point of a non-rotating format and from a consumer perspective feels like a way to give out fewer wildcards from bans. I don't see any good…

  18. Add Alchemy as a separate thing

    Add Alchemy as a separate gamemode entirely, and let historic become the eternal format for MTGA.

    Take the opportunity to move the digital only cards out of historic and into historic alchemy instead.

    There is only two reasons for why you wouldn't do this; Either you intentionally do this because you believe you can get more money, or you simply haven't understood why an eternal format is needed.

    I'm choosing to believe the latter for now. Revert this absolute travesty of a decision, and everyone will be happy, or keep your current course and at least I will no longer…

  20. Alchemy and historic

    Alchemy as a format isn’t an issue but the rebalanced cards is a huge issue for historic. You originally promised me that all my old standard cards would have a home in historic but now those same powerful cards might not even be playable in historic. I’m not asking you to remove this. Instead please add pioneer ASAP so my “paper” version from start date decks can still be played in an eternal format on arena
