4. Bring back the "Thanks!" Emote

   The "Thanks!" button was very handy for friendly competition when it was around. It feels weird not having it when someone says "Nice!" to a play, and responding "Nice!" back (where the "Thanks!" button used to be" feels like it could be taken the wrong way.

5. Remastered Format Bo3 Plea

   This is just a heartfelt plea – can we please, please enable Bo3 for the upcoming KLR Limited format? Let’s just try it, and see how the numbers stack!

   I've been musing on the reasons for limiting these supplementary formats to Bo1, and the only conclusion I can reach regards queues. But if data on overall Bo3 entrants suggests the numbers are insufficient to maintain two queues, could this result from there being only one queue in the first place? Is it not worth gambling (now, on a single short-term format) to test the waters and see whether more options will = more participants overall, i.e. enough to sustain two queues?

   Admittedly I am projecting here, but as Arena matures, surely so too do the tastes and desires of a proportion of the player base, with many increasingly hungry for a more authentic MTG experience a la Bo3? Additionally, at this time now when, increasingly, populations are returning to lockdown for a period, if ever the player base could support two queues, now may be it? Probably this would skew the resulting data, but surely more options now that the player base has more free time = more profits too?

   AKR was a masterpiece and, so far as I'm aware, provided tangible evidence of player’s desire for a greater availability of different Limited formats. But, although there appear on first glance to be a lower proportion of sideboard-specific cards in KLR than AKR, the draft experience of AKR was hurt by the number of such cards that were simply unplayable in Bo1.

   I get that Arena is cultivating a quick-play, Bo1 audience, but that has left a segment of the player base caught in a hinterland, with money staying in pocket in the absence of a preferred outlet. Were temporary formats such as AKR and KLR available on MTGO, there could be a valid argument that these players are catered to, enabling WOTC to tap into their economic value in one way or another (although newer and less skilled players are also disinclined from MTGO by the stronger competition and higher costs of entry). But being Arena-only, there is consequently a certain demographic that simply cannot enjoy the fruits of WOTC's labours.

   Often I see respected streamers – some MPL, some Rivals, many others just good players - lament the lack of Bo3 options for these short-term formats – consequently never playing them and, as such, never providing marketing for WOTC’s product. Personally, in a bid to improve at the game I’ve come to adore over the past 13 months (I’m a Limited junkie), I’ve begun investing spare time in writing my own, personal format prerelease analyses – a process I enjoy almost as much as playing. But it feels like an exercise inherently limited in value, and so I am disinclined from doing so, when the lack of Bo3 makes luck of the draw almost as much of a determining factor as any other. In particular, aggressive formats such as AKR can feel so bad when a whole draft can be derailed within 15 minutes via three poor draws and three aggro opponents. Personally, I needed to take an extended break from MTG following my experiences early to mid-M21 and early-AKR due to the low-grade PTSD of numerous low or zero-value drafts due to being rolled over by aggro decks. Burning through gems at this rate, and gleaning no satisfaction and so little opportunity for rewarding play was simply unsustainable. Sure, I could just get good, but when doing so requires monetary investment it’s a more logical step to just stop. And, sure, maybe for some Bo1 encourages spending more money, but for many of us – particularly, and increasingly so now – investments of money have to offer a decent return to feel good. Noone wants to play Magic to feel bad, hey. It’s well recognized that the quality of one’s draw is the most significant agent in any game of Magic, and in Bo3 I feel I at least have agency within this context; Bo1 is a more quickly a demoralizing experience, with the potential to lead more rapidly to burn-out, as I experienced this year.

   In conclusion, there is a demographic that is super hungry for a greater depth of Bo3 support, and which feels pushed away from Arena by its lack, with nowhere else to go in pursuit of these unique, supplementary Limited formats. I’m fascinated by Magic’s history, and so remastered sets are of immense interest to me, but I know I will only a very small amount of this format because Bo1 feels so bad. My primary argument for Bo3 options, though, are economic rather than emotional, and I implore the team to consider experimenting with a Bo3 queue for KLR to bring Bo3-loving Limited players – and their wallets! – back into the fold.

6. keep Bo3 cube draft up longer

   Once again I am sitting here excited to spend my gold and gems playing a fun format on Arena but I cannot do so because of an arbitrary decision to end Bo3 Draft earlier than Bo1 for the same format. Why do this? If the reason is queue times being long...who cares? I'd rather wait in queue for 20 mins to play a game I want to play rather than not have the option to play it at all.

   You are taking away a game mode from people who want it. I want to play Bo3 cube. If my only option is to play Bo1, I'm just not going to play cube at all. I was excited to play a lot of Arena this week with my time off, but all I wanted to play was Bo3 cube. Now, I am going to have to find other games to play this week besides MTGA, since MTGA has once again said to me (as someone who wants to play Bo3) "we don't want your gold/gems/time/money"

   I am grateful you added Bo3 Cube (and Kaledesh). But why make it shorter than Bo1? Just make them up for the same amount of time! It is so frustrating to keep having this happen over and over again.

   Between cube and Kaledesh this is so frustrating and seems like an own goal. I would have easily spent another 6k gems (at least) on Kaledesh Bo3 draft if it had stayed up as long as Bo1 Kaledesh. Instead, I spent that time playing other games and only playing a small amount of MTGA. Now here we are again, repeating that story.

   I don't think it is likely I will ever put more money into this game if this pattern continues. Bo3 is what I love. Bo3 is worth money to me. Bo1 is not.

8. No triggered abilities were working.

   I have attached the log. I checked all the events. I had several cards with triggered abilities and none of them were activating my opponent had no cards which should've prevented them.

10. Client Crashed during draft match

    Client crashed during a Quick Draft, rendering me unable to play my turn, and resulting in a match loss. Is there a way to reverse the loss so I can play the full Draft? Thanks!

11. hire all new programmers that arent clueless , for example...

    this is just one out of 1000 scenerios where clearly the programmers are incompetant..
    casted granted.. it cant even show you all 15 cards, so i find a card finally but time is running out on the stupid worthless timer, so the card comes into my hand on the FAR RIGHT, which is where the game is programmed to DISCARD you! so ive got 8 cards so i have but a second or two to discard, so i click a card but it still wants me to click SUBMIT! but theres no time to click submit but the card is still highlighted, the nasty timer runs out and instead of discarding the card i selected and highlighted but couldnt click on submit, it CLICKS THECARD I JUST SEARCHED FOR WITH GRANTED, the card i just got, the only card in my whole hand that i actually needed ! Do the programmers ever even play their worthless game? start charging for this FREE GAME if thats what it takes to hire some talented programmers!

    I was going to purchase a mastery pass for the first time, as I started late in the Zendikar season and like the game. However, today I was greeted with a non-binary social justice woman, sporting a beard and shaved head.

    There is no way that I will pollute my account with that. You have gone off the deep end, and are attempting to pander to a market which does not exist, with utterly disgusting identity politics. The avatar looks similar to someone who randomly ****** punched me on public transit, in our new lawless society. I play the game to escape the shear misery and insanity of the modern era, not to wallow in it abjectly.

    There is no way you will get my money now, I may never ever give you a penny due to the bad taste in my mouth from your skewed and perverse politics.

13. Need a more visible reminder for Events that are about to end

    As stated in the title. When there are multiple events active, some of them get pushed off the featured list on the front page. I had an active Kaladesh draft going (was at 6-1 I think) but kind of forgot about it because of the Cube and FNM stuff going on and was surprised to see that KLD had ended. There should be a more visible reminder that events you are participating in are about to end. This didn't 'hurt' me too much this time because I had already played out most of that draft, but I can imagine there would be some people who had just drafted a deck and didn't get to play it out to at least try to recoup their entry.

14. weekly wins

    The weekly wins are just 15 like the daily wins ... it doesn't make sense win 15 games, that you can easily do it in just 1 day playing. It would be better there were more than 15, Even because after those it's impossible level up in the pass. You don't get any others exp points from nowhere.

15. see screenshot.. this is pretty typical for the disgusting lack of attention to detail of the programmers ..lazy programing is all it is

    um, most of the time trample creatures have a red aura that flickers, and at the very least it should be showing up as a symbol.. the fact that the card says ... does not tell me AANYtHING! um theres plenty of room in the upper left to put the numbers and more symbols etc.. putting just some of the symbols is not ok, if you dont want to put all the ability symbols then just DONT USE SYMBOLS at all and that way ill be forced to always read the card instead of relying on the stupid dam symbols.. the most important ability of this creature was TRAMPLE not indestructible.. and honestly the way the artifact is displayed almost 96% behind the creature, i cant even tell at a glance which artifact is even attached to it.. maybe MOVE THE ATTACHED CARD FURTHER OUT SO WE CAN ACTUALLY SEE IT!

16. this is minor issue but... THE MUSIC NEEDS to STOP changing volume levels!

    the music is fine, its good, its nice, but i have it muted all the time now, why? because you guys decided its ok to play music that has lulls of near silence followed by super loud crescendos of super high volume! i shouldnt have to hire a DJ or be a DJ and constantly keep changing the volume up and down and up and down depending on which part of the music is playing. the music is supposed to be at a steady constant volume. so that way someone can set the music volume at a comfortable level and leave it alone. do i need to elaborate? please make alll the music be at the same level of volume throughout, so that i can once again listen to the nice game music without it being obnoxious.

17. Valakut exploration/ Torbran, thane of red fell combo bug.

    The damage calculation for valakut exploration does not calculate properly when Torban is on the field. With 1 card exiled, valakut exploration does 3 damage, like it should. With 2-4 cards exiled, each card deals 2 damage. With 5-9 cards exiled, the damage is randomized, averaging about 1.5 damage per card. With 10+ cards exiled Torbran's effect is ignored, and each card only deals 1 damage.

18. Lost Tier Ranks in Brawl

    Hi, I played the Brawl event FNM at Home: Brawl. I won my game 2/2 and lost a Silver Tier Rank from 3/6 to 2/6.

    Seems like a bug, u guys maybe already know but just wanted to let u know.

19. for the 100th time, list simple numerical stats somewhere in the corner like, HOW MUCH CONVERTED MANA YOU HAVE AVAILABLE, to save time !

    ive asked this so many times before, since we are all forced to play speed magic,instead of just taking our time... it is NOT that easy to count all of your available mana sometimes , especially when you have a lot of lands in play and artifacts etc! the game client already knows if i have 12 mana available for instance, so why do i have to waste precious seconds on my game timer to sit there and count all my mana just by eyeballing my untapped lands and artifacts! plus the fact that i should get this same info about my opponents lands too! sometimes this crazy game stacks like a bunch of lands in one pile and does NOT even put a number of how many are there! so just list the numerical stats so i can INSTANTLY know i have x mana availa le! i need to know how much mana i have quickly so that i can decide what to do! if i have 12 mana i can cast a card for 7 mana and one for 5, but if i have only 11 mana i cant do that, so now ill have to change my whole strategy! its hard enough playing a complicated 5 color deck super quickly ,without having to waste time to verify how much mana i have available... before i can decide to start casting multiple spells!and im sure it would be so easy to just have the game display how much converted mana you have total available somewhere.. plus other numerical stats would be nice too,like opponents available mana for instance,and more, but at least do THAT!

    this is so OBVIOUSLY needed.. another thing that should have been added long long ago.. you guys used to have a button for plus 1 minus 1, then you geniuses decided to add a plus 5 minus 5, but you couldnt think of this MAXIMUM button ? for example yet again, heliods intervention, it asks what you want to do, you click gain life, it asks WHO to gain life, OMG really, ok me of course duh, it asks how much life do i want to gain.. what if i have like 17 lands out there, but of course, the game wont tell you that you have 17 lands, you have to use your eyeballs to count them, so what if i count them like 3 times and waste tons of time, and still manage to count wrong, so i count 18 lands, so i type in x=16 by clicking plus 5plus5 plus 5 plus 1 ok 16 .. but OOPS oh now i counted wrong i only have 17 lands so x can only be 15 since it costs 2 mana to cast it, so now the spell just cancels itself angrily and i have to start all over again.. oh no wait my timers are gone my turns over and oh no i just lost the game!! but what if there was a smarter way, like having a "MAX" button next to the "+5" button that i could click to tell the game to just use all the maximum available mana for x!?! wouldnt that be just ingenious? ?how convenient.. would that be.. maybe then i could stop running out of time in the middle of casting a card and thus losing over that..

    ANY CARD with x in the cost should ALSO have a button to click that says "MAX" ! so i dont have to waste time counting all my mana!
