How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

    With the new Alchemy format, can we please have it separated from Historic? You are going to be nerfing cards considering the standard environment, please leave them alone for Historic decks.

  2. Algorithm Improvement

    I'm sure you're getting a lot of complaints about how one-sided your algorithm is not being impartial and often times screwing over players with land draws that should not be happening in a purely random sample - so my complaint can be added to that pile.

    But, an idea for changing the algorithm to improve randomization would be having the program assign a number to each card remaining in a deck and pile shuffling the cards into X amount of piles (let's say 6). It can repeat this process Y amount of times then take the middle of the pile…

  3. Remove Digital-Only Cards from the Timeless Format

    The timeless format is a big step forward and many players, including myself are excited to start playing it.

    However, the constant pushing of digital only designs and pursuit of empty slogans such as "all cards on arena are legal" add nothing to the excitement and health of the format, many players would rather a true to paper experience with as little digital designs as possible.

    Please consider removing alchemy from Timeless.

  4. Alchemy

    Alchemy as an "alternate Standard" is a fun idea that I don't mind -- while I like Standard, being able to switch back and forth between Standard and Alchemy without too much hassle (and getting to play a new format with most of the same cards if Standard is stale) is great. But I am super unhappy about the rebalanced cards being the versions legal in Historic and Historic Brawl. This deeply harms the point of a non-rotating format and from a consumer perspective feels like a way to give out fewer wildcards from bans. I don't see any good…

  5. Alchemy and historic

    Alchemy as a format isn’t an issue but the rebalanced cards is a huge issue for historic. You originally promised me that all my old standard cards would have a home in historic but now those same powerful cards might not even be playable in historic. I’m not asking you to remove this. Instead please add pioneer ASAP so my “paper” version from start date decks can still be played in an eternal format on arena

    Petition for Timeless Events in MTG Arena

    Dear MTG Arena Team,

    As a passionate player of Timeless, I would like to respectfully request the addition of dedicated Timeless or Timeless Classic events to MTG Arena. Timeless is my favorite format in Arena because of its depth, variety, and the ability to explore strategies across Magic’s history.

  8. Card Effect or Translation incorrect

    The card "The Safe Looter" had a different effect than what is written!

    The card says that when entering battlefield the target player discards a card and loses one life and the effect is not that. This problem affected performance in the draft.

  11. Keep Alchemy and Historic separated

    Just let us have an eternal format on the client. This is magic, not some cheap digital only game, let us play Magic.
    If we wanted to play any other clone we would by now.

  12. Quick Draft Quest not completing

    I started another draft and am still not receiving progress for the three quick draft matches however, and clicking thee quest doesn't appear to navigate to anything. Is this a known issue, or is there any other way to receive progress?

  13. Please don't mix Alchemy with Historic

    If those changes happen I will uninstall the game, I love mtg and have played for more than 15 years now, I have my Arena account since the closed beta and have convinced multiple of my friends to ditch other tcg's for Arena. I play exclusively historic, as I prefer non rotating formats, a long time ago you promised to implement Pioneer onto the client, but you lied about it, now you plan to terminate the only eternal format available without ant consideration to your player-base. If Alchemy affect historic without any news about pioneer, in the 8th I will…

  14. Alchemy historic

    Wotc the changes to historic cards in addition to alchemy makes me think your abusing ***** or common thrives. There is no reason whatsoever for this change you even have to code in the original first so it’s not about card copies and if it is then fix it. No one cares if you wanna make alchemy go for it but please don’t nuke historic. But on the brute side we are not whores cause whores get money when you *********, you won’t even give us back wild cards….if this happens I’m done

  15. Sparky wont go away

    Sparky came back about a 2 updates ago and it wont go away and there is no option to turn it off. I completed the tutorials years ago, there is no reason for this feature to turn itself back on.

  16. Unable to Select Card in Premium Draft

    I would like to request a refund on my draft due to a bug in the client that caused me to lose out on a key card.

    1. Give us the steps to reproduce the bug:
    2. enter premium draft
    3. select cards normally until pack 1 pick 6
    4. drag vampire interloper towards my deck, but then put it back

    5. vampire interloper visually disappears and is unable to be selected or dragged into the deck.

  17. Seal Product Codes Should Not Expire

    I bought a new old stock Jace Planeswalker Deck. It came with a digital code to play on Magic Arena but I can't use it apparently because it expired! How does it expire?! Digital is the only way to play right now with the pandemic and I can't use this deck all because Wizards of the Coast has codes expire... makes no sense. They should reactivate all codes that have expired from sealed products.

  18. Historic Pauper!

    An Open Letter to WOTC and the MTG Arena team

    Hello!

    I just wanted to write in on behalf of myself and the Historic Pauper community (I'm a moderator in a Historic Pauper Discord server and have been staff/the organizer for approximately half of the Historic Pauper events on MTG Melee) to say that we loved the FNM event. Many of us have played hundreds of games in official MTG Arena events while also playing hundreds (if not thousands) more in player run events or casual matches.

    We are all looking forward to the next Historic Pauper event!

  19. Keep historic cards unchanged with alchemy

    Dont change Historic with Alchemy updates. This destroys the only eternal format available on Arena, which is important. It will kill interest in Arena.

  20. Separate Alchemy and Historic brawl.

    Separate Historic Brawl and Alchemy please. Alchemy cards may be fun for some people but the drafting of cards ruins my enjoyment of the game. Please just give us access to historic brawl without alchemy.
