1. Splash Portal bug

   My opponent played a card on turn 2 that allowed him to manifest dread, which was face down. On turn 3 he played Splash Portal which allowed him to exile the card he had selected for manifest dread and return it to the battlefield, but it allowed him to return it face up without having to pay the cost required by manifest dread. So turn 3 he had 11/11 Darksteel Colossus without paying the mana cost to turn it face up. A bit unfair.

2. Unable to assign damage

   Using a Tom Bombadil deck, had Hunters Talent at level 2 and Inkeepers talent at level 3. Swung with a 12/12 Tom, he blocked me and used an instant to prevent creature damage. I was then unable to assign damage even though I had trample.

3. I didn't receive the gold multiple times that I was meant to be awarded for winning in the standard queue.

   Every time i won 275 gold and a mystery card, the gold wasn't added to my account

4. FF set reprints do not count as FF cards

   A great deal of difficulty and frustration finding reprint cards from the FF set in MTGA was compounded by the FF Midweek Brawl that I was deck building for, when I realised your game doesn't treat these as cards from that set.

   I was attempting to build a deck for this event using my favourite character, Yuffie, as commander but MTGA sees this as another card and not a FF set card. The card is not banned and she is constructive in the deck but cannot be used as the commander because she is not seen as being part of the FF set.

   Saddening, frustrating and insulting for people who love Final Fantasy and have started playing MTG again (or for the first time), only to find confusion and inconsistency dampening their play aspirations.

   Not being able to use my favourite character because of a jank coding logic really killed my mood to play this week.

   Can we please make sure if we're going to reprint that the card is coded as a legal part of the set both for events and for finding cards when deck building?

5. A few suggestions: Card-Style Viewer, Better Bot-Play, Apparently boring Meta-Games, Pity-Prices & Accumulative Login-Reward

   Card-Style Viewer:
   I bought some card styles with the ingame gold currency and the blue orbs from the mastery and I didn't pay attention, so I missed the detail that it was just cosmetics. I then tried to add those “cards” to a deck and couldn't find them in my collection, for them being just cosmetics… Which was disappointing. :(
   Without the actual cards included, those style purchases are basically useless in my opinion and I don't understand why you (WOC/MTGA) would make it this way.

   Anyways, there seems to be no way to see which cosmetics have been unlocked.
   I would like to ask to add a card style viewer to the collection viewer.
   Plus a how-to-get-this-card option that points me to the required packs in the shop.

   Better Bot-Play:
   I would like to request more valid bot play options, because I don't like playing against other players. Because Magic is already a slow game and some people take felt ages to conclude their turns. Also, if you get attacked by like 10 or more creatures, the timeout timer runs down faster then you can optimize the blocking. The bot doesn't take long with its turns and allows me to take my time. Please more of that.
   I think you are missing out on all the people that like Magic, but just don't want to play against other people.

   And Sparky deserves some more dialogue variety while a match.

   Apparently Boring Meta-Games 🤷‍♀️:
   A friend of mine who is far far more competitive than me stopped playing some time ago this year. Don't know when they started, but I think it was also this year. They told me that they got bored, because in ranked games you will get to the point where the meta is either black-discard, red-rush or 4-Color...Something they said.
   The background is, I wanted to add them as a friend in the game, now that I picked back up MTGA, but they told me they stopped playing for said reason… They are one of the biggest Magic nerds I know and they got fed up with MTGA.
   Diagnosis: Lack of competitive meta-game deck diversity. …
   I wonder if a deck diversity reward system sounds doable… or if it even makes sense.

   Adding Friends:
   Adding friends could be easier too. I think there should be a PVP-player history where the last 5 or so players I played against are listed. Maybe also for blocking some people too, for outside of Ranked, Event and Brawl.

   Pity-Prices:
   I mostly play YuGiOh Duel Links, and now in MTGA I realize how much I actually value the pity price system.
   Because here in MTGA, a lost game = wasted time (Zero XP and/or coins), additionally to feeling bad for losing.

   Accumulative Login-Rewards:
   The login rewards in Duel Links are also neat. There you get tickets that allow one to pick a specific card from a list.
   What if MTGA would give out wild cards like this, as an example, to reward loyalty as a nice side bonus?

   But make it accumulative and not calendar based.
   Because calendar based will become either a chore, or discouraging when it eventually resets!

6. Random Shuffler

   I was playing Arena today, I play and enjoy the game A LOT. I mean no disrespect by this post I just would like an explanation.

   So I usually just play historic casual matches. But lately (past week or two) Ive been getting into games where the opponent concedes immediately, or they are AFK and the timer forces them to concede. Like 9/10 they would concede before the first card is even played.

   So I decided to try ranked, to see if there was less of that going on.

   (I play life gain mainly. Its a 60 card custom deck with 24 lands and 36 creatures/artifacts/enchantments)

   We start no problems, by mid game we were both at or above 20 life. My opponent plays a “destroy all creatures” sorcery. At this point im thinking “oh well, we both start at 0 again”

   Its my turn now and I draw a 1 mana drop creature. Fine. I play it. Mind you there are only 5 plains under my control. (My highest casting card is 3 mana) I pass turn and my opponent draws a bigger creature (4/4 with a bunch of abilities/triggered abilities) fine. Luck of the draw I guess.

   Its my turn again and I draw a land. I play it.

   Its his turn again and he draws another big creature. Fine. Luck of the draw.

   Except. I drew. And im not exaggerating here. 10 consecutive. Back to back lands.

   I ended up losing because I couldn’t get any creatures out if my 30 total creatures in the deck. And thats fine, cannot win them all, oh well.

   BUT i crunched some numbers and double and triple checked my math. (Even used AI to calculate the same number)

   So in a 60 card deck. Containing 24 lands and 36 “other” cards. The probability of me drawing 10 CONSECUTIVE lands is this

   0.0000022%.

   Gemini (Googles AI) said and I quote “this is an extremely low probability and can almost be categorized as impossible.”

   Ive run into this issue multiple times. As have many of you in sure. I know my friends have.

   You build a deck. with an outstanding land to creature ratio. And you either end up drawing too much land. Or too many creatures.

   And the funny thing is, it usually happens after about 5-6 back to back wins. Its like the more you win, the higher likelihood of your deck being stacked against you.

   I did some digging and tried to see if WOTC had made an announcement regarding their random shuffler and how it determines what you draw. And as you could imagine, theres nothing. I understand why, I was just hoping for at least a “yes, our card shuffler is 100% randomized by a RNG.” Or something along those lines from WOTC. But theres nothing. It almost feels like its one of those “ plausible deniability” situations. Like oh, we never said it was random so no harm done.

   But its people like me, and possibly people like you who are getting screwed by this. Ive been playing Magic a long time. Tabletop and digital. I know how to optimize decks. In table top. I have a life gain deck (similar to my digital deck) that is almost a 90% win chance. Because I have 4 of each creature/enchantment/artifacts that gain life constantly and consistently. I never have this issue.

   I winder if they have a line of code somewhere that stacks the deck against people on a win streak. To keep the other people who may have been losing a bunch, happy.

   Which is a very bad way of going about it IMO. People need to learn from why they are losing instead of just giving up. So encourage that! Stop being so stingy with wildcards? Would that help? Let people not have to grind so dang much for a single rare wildcard? To get a card that will improve their experience 10 fold.

   This “random shuffler” doesn't seem to be random. Im going to take more data and use a very. Very. Large sample size. Its going to take some time but im willing to put in the work.

   Just to be absolutely 100% clear here.

   I will be taking notes and taking data in new notebooks and will IN NO WAY use any scripts or code on my computer. Ive read the terms of services and I know thats a big ol no no. So Ill do it on paper and save the data. Im actually looking forward to this because I like investigating things of this nature. More to come.

8. Acerak Bug

   While playing against Acerak combo, my opponent spammed Acerak without a payoff until they roped out. Not sure what 'auto-pass' does cause I had to infini-tap 'resolve'through two extensions...
   Opponent passes, I take my turn and pass, then they infini-spam Acerak again, but now MY rope burns uncontrollably while I'm spamming 'resolve' because auto-pase does nothing. WTF?

   Fix this please

   i put " Ulamog, the Defiler " from my hand onto to battlefield with "Thran Temporal Gateway" meanwhile my opponent had 3

10. Could not select creature to sacrifice

    I could not select my creature to sacrifice it just kept showing the lands it had exiled every time I clicked on it. Also, the cards in my hand always show up lower than they should be. I have to flip my screen every time to make it normal again.

11. Add filters to deck selection for play

    When going into the Decks tab, you can search for decks by various filters, and partial name search, and color - but when going to play a game, you’re given only a list of decks. Please add the same filters to the deck search screen for playing.

12. draw simulator

    A draw simulator located in "Edit Deck" where clicking a button such as "test hand" somewhere would lay out and show a sample starting hand at the top where your card collection is. I know there are odd third-party sites but its about convenience and a quality-of-life buff on the platform which it really needs. I think all small conveniences should be well taken care of and established by the establishment of the game It should have everything that we need to play and to test everything we want to test. Adding a feature like this could also be included to someone who purchase the Mastery Pass as an incentive if you feel the need to "get something in return for it". The people reading this who don't agree to me giving them the idea of "possibly" putting it as an exclusive with the mastery pass, need to understand in today's world there is no company who's going to do something if they are not going to get anything out of it. We haven't seen anything implemented that we asked for in years if they cannot implement something like this which is very basic, very simple quality of life, then they're showing us they don't want us to stick around. WOTC needs to understand every kind of relationship is a two-way street.

15. Eternity elevator (limited playability and usage) needs attention NOW!

    This is less of a suggestion and more of a request to fix Eternity elevator in MTG arena as it is not functioning as intended. It caps out on castable mana of one type at 2,000 energy even if you’ve stacked more than 10,000 energy counters on it. I was attempting to cast broodguard elite and tap all 10,000 counters and it would only allow me to use 2,000 mana of one type even though the card literally says X mana of any one color. Also it only allows you to add 1-5 mana per click on the cast menu for the card and there should be a MAX button to auto cast at max tappable mana value. I spent 15 minutes tapping to 10,000 only for the display menu to only let me select 2,000 of one and had to cancel and recast and click to 2,000. In a match the timer will run out and skip my action for how long this takes to cast at maximum mana.

    This is less of a suggestion and more of a request to fix Eternity elevator in MTG arena as it is not functioning as intended. 16. deckbuilder

    Deckbuilder bugs - Can't add cards from deck zone, and Apply styles button doesn't work. See attached log and picture showing the problems. Inside the deckbuilder the + icon is grayed out despite only having 3 copies of a card total (none in sideboard). I should be able to add another torch the tower but this button is grayed out when it should be able to add 1 more. Second issue is the apply styles button doesn't register when you click on it. It stays as shown indefinitely.

17. Deckbuilder Bugs

    Deckbuilder bugs - Can't add cards from deck zone, and Apply styles button doesn't work. See attached log and picture showing the problems. 18. omniscience does not let me cast spells with the gift mechanic for free

    I had a copy of omniscience out and tried to cast Long River's Pull and neither option (with or without the gift) were castable on a valid target. Both insisted I needed two blue mana. Forgot to add a screenshot, but the screen that chooses whether or not I was going to gift them something both showed that mana was required as opposed to the 0 that often comes with omniscience choices.

19. My app started to crash when highlighting any card in hand which leadded me to loosing Standard Event matches without abillity to play.

20. I gained control of an opponent's creature using Lagrella

    My opponent had Spara's Adjudicators.
    I cast Lagrella, the Magpie and exiled my opponent's Spara's Adjudicators.
    My opponent destroyed my Lagrella and I gained control of Spara's Adjudicators when it re-entered the battlefield.
