How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

  1. Bug: Shorecomber Crab missing from Arena Base Set (ANB)

    Shorecomber Crab cannot be found when searching with the set filter for Arena Base Set, despite the card being in the Arena Base Set.
    This can be reproduced using either "t:crab set:ANB" or selecting Arena Base Set as the set filter and then searching for Shorecomber Crab.

    The attached screenshots are both taken while building a new deck with the format set to Timeless.

  2. Three Steps Ahead Spell Bug

    On my last game I encountered again another bug, this time I played the spell three steps ahead choosing the 2 following options :
    - copy an artifact or creature
    - draw 2 cards and discard 1
    I had enough mana and the spell resolved but It just didnt draw any card, it only copied the artifact, forcing me to forfeit the game (second time Im forced to forfeit a ladder game today because of a bug)

  3. Unleash the Inferno on Planeswalker

    Casting Unleash the Inferno that was stolen by Gonti, Lord of Luxury on a Tamiyo, Field Researcher on 6 loyalty does not allow me to destroy an artifact, leading to a loss

  4. My Light Card "Petrify" doesn't do what the card says it does.

    My light card Petrify doesn't do what it says it's supposed to do in game.

    The card text clearly states

    "Enchant Artifact or creature
    Enchanted Permanent can't attack or block ,
    and it's activated abilities can't be activated"

    When I use this card on other permanents listed the card continues to do it's activated abilities and even does it's abilities even if they weren't activated yet.

    Why doesn't this card work like it says?

  6. Game force ending in a Draw

    I was playing a game and I would've won earlier in the game but my Helm of the Host stopped making tokens and after that I got Tendershoot Dryad, Verdant Force, and Scute Swarm and none of them made tokens which is the whole point of the deck. Both players seemed to be content to play out the game regardless of me getting screwed by tokens not generating but eventually the game just forced us into a draw and said there was an unknown error.   7. Tasha, Unholy Archmage

    Tasha, Unholy Archmage seems to have a bug attached to her +1 ability which reads "Until your next turn, whenever a creature attacks you or Tasha, Unholy Archmage, put a -1/-1 counter on it."

    I have observed that this effect stacks until a creature attacking either legal target triggers it and it can result in more than o e -1/-1 counter being placed on it. If the part that reads "until your next turn" is correct it shouldn't do this.

    I had activated Tasha's +1 ability in a previous game and observed the icon to show the effect is active…

  9. Invasion of Tarkir does not work with Ojer Axonil

    Dragon from invasion of tarkyr, doesn't work woth ojer axonil, only does 2 dmg as oppsed tot ojers power

  11. Moonstone Harbinger's ability triggers more than once per turn!

    During my last match in Arena on my PC, my opponent's Moonstone Harbinger's ability to give all their bats +1/+0 & deathtouch triggered more than the once per turn it specifies. The result was that all of their bats gained +5 to their power! I think this may have occurred because they were attacking with multiple lifelink creatures at the same time, & maybe the game treated them all as valid triggers. As far as I understand once per turn triggers this should not be the case.

  12. Thought-stalker warlock ist discarding without damage

    Happened many times that i took 0 damage and opponent could discard a card from my hand. In the pic added i used clean mana to put the bat into play and also to cast the removal shown in grave nonetheless the warloch triggers the etb !!!

  13. Cannot collect evidence for Deadly Cover-up

    1. Cast deadly cover-up for the first time with at least 6 MV of cards in graveyeard
    2. PC
    3. Cannot click on the option to collect evidence, but can still cast deadly cover-up without collecting evidence
    4. We're supposed to be able to collect evidence 6 as an addition cost of casting the spell and gain the effects of collecting evidence
    5. None :(
    6. You can collect evidence on a later turn if the bug has occurred on an earlier turn

  14. Instant Spell Did Not Resolve

    Playing on iOS. An Instant spell was cast and opponent initiated and cancelled countering, but rather than continuing to resolve the Instant spell was stuck in the sidebar unable to resolve. It continued to be highlighted as if playable but I was unable to further interact with or remove it. Apart from never having done its job, it was annoying to have to pass everytime my opponent did anything when there was nothing I could do to remove the card. As soon as the match was over the error was fixed and the card moved back to my hand. If…

    can't instal for mac on steam

    The game itself has mac support, however I am unable to download the game on steam. As such I am unable to play this game when I would really like to.

  16. Sideboarding broken if relog and randomly on my phone.

    If I ever close and reopen Magic arena during a Bo3 match I am unable to sideboard during the match. Also, on my iPhone, sometime (seemingly at random) I cannot add cards from my sideboard to my deck. The cards are visible but clicking on them has no effect

  18. surveil not revealing the correct cards

    when surveiling specifically with lilypad village for me it will reveal two cards then next turn when i draw i am given a different card that was not there

  20. サイドボーディングでカードの入れ替えができなかった

    BO3のランクマッチをプレイ中に2戦目以降の全てのゲームにおいてサイドボーディングができなかった
    もちろんマッチには敗北し、正直言って非常に強い不快感を覚えた
