3. The sad state of Arena July 12th 2025

   Let's see here, so as of the latest release we have:

   • Sideboard building (8+ cards) has been unusable for over a week? Yep.
   • Vivi Ornitier still isn't banned in Standard? Yep.
   • Multiple odd networking, queuing, and sound bugs? Yep.
   • Multiple confirmed long-standing card bugs (e.g. Lightwheel Enhancements)? Yep.

   ZERO communication from WotC on ANY of this? Yep.

   Ok, time to put Arena on the shelf for a few months until WotC can (hopefully) get its act together as a software publisher.

4. Mana frustration

   It's impossible to enjoy the game if you can get 14 turns with 3 manas and the opponent with 14 Manas and the next game you can have only manas in your hands for turns with the exact number of manas in the deck. It's a digital game! Just don't allow unjustices with the mana to allow people enjoy it! People is losing a lot of time and wasting his time only to lose the game because this. Just don't allow more than 5 turns without mana if your deck have 24 manas or more. Or don't allow that the opponent can triply your mana if he's not using cards to increase the mana. Just try to be fair. Minimums!!!!

5. Please start doing math instead of animating when the same thing enters the stack too many times!

   So I play white/green, which means I often chain effects that create many creatures, then trigger lifegain on each creature, then trigger additional effects on lifegain.

   All of it animates individually. Which takes time out of my turn. Which, if I've made a big enough move, makes the game make me skip my next several turns, then declare I lost.

   I keep losing the game because I am playing my deck too well!!!

   I understand why the logic needs to check for additional effects and triggers on my and the opponent's side at each point in the stack. But when it's just the same thing x100, can't it at some point transition to doing math about it and stop animating it? Nothing new is going to happen on the 100th trigger!!! Or even if it still might, can't it pretty please be a calculation behind the scenes that doesn't take this long in real time? There's no way it takes as long for the server to determine as it takes it to play out on my screen!!!!

   (Or maybe stop counting the time it takes to animate automatic effects as time the player takes to take their turn as if they're afk, but I understand how that could create problems) (I just don't think that someone who makes an infinite combo should be the one to lose the game about it)

   tl;dr I keep losing because I make too many creatures at the same time, which seems rather against the spirit of the game.

   P.S. Game state breakdown: I had 140 life when I activated the ability of Ajani, Caller of the Pride "create X tokens where X is your life total". This created 140 creatures, which first gave my opponent 140 life with 140 individual triggers of Authority of the Consuls, which got compressed and passed by quickly. Then my 2 soul wardens and 2 guides of souls each triggered 140 times, which in turn each triggered Voice of the Blessed and Cleric Class 2nd level. Processing all this, then the subsequent effects of Ocelot Pride doubling the tokens, then Iridiscent Hornbeetle creating tokens per counters put on creatures, timed out my turn, not giving me the opportunity to finish it, and after passing turn to my opponent (who I believe had also timed out) instantly passed it back to me, which I understand also timed out instantly, and then I lost the game.

8. Fix shuffle algorithm

   Explain to me how can I even fking play the game when I go against ******** like this which ya'll spend no time balancing and you feed me lands because the game most of the time for one of's clumps cards together based on land to non-land values...

9. scry card disappears

   I just lost a game because my scry card that I kept on top of the deck was not the card I received during my next draw step. This has happened five or six times now and is pretty infuriating.

10. Reconnection issue

    I've had multiple reconnection issues in the last couple weeks. I reported the one from my quick draft as it affected me financially. I just had a disconnection again on a standard play game (not ranked) with the same issue:

    I was disconnected from the game (network connection may be to blame, unsure) and the application said reconnecting to server. When finished it shot me back to the home screen. Attempting to start a new game fails until your current game times out, no option to rejoin the game in progress. I was able to close the client, restart, then press play to rejoin the game in progress.

    This seems to be a widespread problem with the windows client, not just isolated to a specific format or game type. It was present prior to the current update and persists. Log capture attached.

    I think there needs to be a rejoin button somewhere on the home or play menu that shows whenever there is a match in progress, or even an unfinished event where this issue didn't occur.

11. App crashes on start (iPad OS)

    The App crashes when trying to load „start sequence“ every single time. This has not happened before the latest update (2025.48.5). I am running it on an iPad Pro 11 inch, 3rd generation, iPad OS 18.3.2.

12. Matchmaking massive problem

    Matchmaking needs to be addressed. I am getting put against literal counterplay decks everytime I sleeve up something new or even play decks I have had built for a long time. Sleeved up an Aristocrats style sac/token deck. I have gotten nothing but soul sister mono white variants or mono white angels. Straight up counter. Out of 20 or so games maybe 3 where a different deck. This algorythm needs to go. I switch to elves and instantly get goblins match up...fix it wotc

13. Game Crashes Constantly

    All on PC, game crashes when trying to re-roll quests, game crashes when clicking on "Store", game crashes when clicking on "Mastery Pass", game crashes when clicking on "Open Packs", game crashes when clicking on "Decks", game crashes when trying to select a game mode other than "Recently Played", game crashes frequently when in a match, game crashes in between BO3 matches, game won't let me sideboard in cards during BO3 even on android. This has been ongoing for nearly TWO WEEKS, reinstalled multiple times, and changed graphics display to "medium" and "low" has not worked.

14. WOTC DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE SHUFFLER

    The complaints about the shuffler will go nowhere. They do not care about gameplay. In BETA the shuffler was a constant issue in the forum ( before WOTC closed them because they do not care). The official response of WOTC was " Since both players are exposed to the same shuffler, they have the same experience, therefore, nothing is wrong" The DO NOT CARE about gameplay, game experience, game economy or game mechanics. The DO CARE about MONEY!!!!. Thats all there is to it - they will keep draining the pockets of the idiots that spend real money on worthless pixel products.

15. Sparky Challenge Not Showing

    After completing the tutorial, I have not unlocked Sparky's Challenge; the event, which should appear at the end of the tutorial, is virtually nonexistent and not present on my home page. I'm not going to drag this out, partly because I think I've read that many users have had the same problem as me and this is a known bug, however I can't accept that I haven't even started playing and am already suffering from problems due to bugs in the game that will prevent me from getting rewards that I honestly don't want to give up. All the attempts I have already tried have not worked, so I am opening this ticket to ask what to do. Can't you log into my account and force the event from your location somehow? Is there anything that can be done? If I can't unlock Sparky's Challenge I will be forced to create a new account, but I will also be forced to create a new email and that is a problem for me.

    The shuffler sucks yall suck at fixing problems clean house and start over this is an embarrassment. There is zero consistency and the client actively won't let you have more than 4 wins in a row. If you get 4 wins it will make you draw all lands or no lands.

18. rigged matchmaking in normal games

    Playing a deck with 0 rares/mythics in normal games, I keep getting matched against decks full of rares/mythics. It doesn't make sense.
    In addition to a budget gruul that has cards with face damage and haste, I keep getting matched against lifegain and consul authority like 8/12 games, which doesn't make sense.
    The machine is totally rigged, it looks for decks in which the opponent has perfect hands or cards that interact in a perfect way against yours.
    The game matches in a really bad way if you're not a youtuber/whale/person with influence.
    A shameful system that passes time and doesn't change despite the fact that this budget deck I use has like a 15% winrate in 20 games lol

    I am sick of your shuffler, I only play to get gold to play draft (level playing field and no meta). It's rubbish that I lose 3 times more games to your shuffler than to bring outplayed by other players. Don't get me wrong I am happy to lose when I'm outplayed and if the right cards don't appear, that's the joy of the game. What isn't a joy is losing to the **** algorithm.
