How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. MAKE CREATURES WEAKER

    Creatures are way too strong now given the nuances of the MTG ruleset. MTG's ruleset was designed and balanced for much weaker creatures relative to their mana. Unfortunately the designers forgot this around 2011 or so and have been pushing the game towards the current state where every deck is a combo deck with a one-card combo or some kind of abhorrent overpowered aggro deck thanks to the last 14 years of power creep.

  2. can i go first?????

    I swear i played 6 games and i have went second every time. With the powered cube being so much of an advantage going first how is it that i am going second 85% of the time. It honestly makes me think there are bot accounts to farm gems off of people.

  3. Bug/Product Suggestion

    "Invasion of Alara" card no longer let's you cast a mana value 4 or less card after cascading.
    No card options appear and only the "resolve" option is available so you can only choose a card to go to your hand.
    Before this happened I was allowed to select one of the 2 cascaded cards to cast them into the battlefield and the one I didnt choose would go to my hand. Now I can only choose one card and that only goes to my hand I can't select one to enter battlefield right away.

  4. Why not a Pioneer Brawl format?

    Why can't we have a nonrotating Brawl format, that is free of Alchemy? Why must a fun game of Brawl be ruined by some absolutely broken Alchemy cards? The Brawl format gets polluted more and more with those unfun cards. Alchemy is NOT fun. Even WINNING with Alchemy cards is not fun. You prove that to me Every Single Time an Into the Future Midweek Magic event comes about. From its inception on, win or lose, not a single game of Alchemy was fun.

  5. Fix your game, PLEASE!

    Dear MTG Arena,
    Fix your game. Top to bottom, and all the way through. I have been subjected to numerous issues with your game, from bugs, to incorrect card interactions, to random unjustified crashes, and so much more. And if it we just me, or even just one of my devices, I'd chalk it up to out of date drivers or something. But it isn't. It's you. And the problems run deeper than just.   6. Dealing with Ropers

    I think that something needs to be done about the increase in players intentionally stalling games; ropers, as they are “affectionately” known in the community. When they realize they’ve lost a game or have given up instead of conceding gracefully, these players will sit and stall, wasting the opponent’s time or prompting them to give up out of frustration, thereby giving them an easy win. On the surface, this doesn’t seem like a big deal, but for someone who has limited time to play the game, this stall tactic can be frustrating.

  7. Historic and Timeless are warped formats

    Please, do something for Historic and Timeless.
    These two formats are completely warped by a few decks.
    Eldrazi in Historic is completely a mess.
    Your decision to nerf a card for Alchemy, which also affected Historic, was completely pointless, since it affected a deck that was trying to compete against a deck that clearly plays another format.
    You must return to cure the formats. They have been left to themselves for a very long time.

  8. Yera and Oski, Weaver and Guide Breaks game / Simulacrum Synthesizer tokens are exiled for no reason

    I have 2 bugs to report that have been replicated more than once, both of which make me lose games, one of them being unavoidable.

    Yera and Oski, Weaver and Guide, if exiled under something like sheltered by ghosts or Banishing light, when is returned to the battlefield by either bouncing the enchantement to hand or kill the creature holding the aura, it shows the screen to select the non-creature type but without any option to select, it results in automatic loss since you burn all the time until you are flagged as AFK.   11. Nerf and buff on Arena

    The buffs and nerfs on MTG Arena make absolutely no sense. It’s unclear why, when a card is nerfed for a specific format, that change automatically applies to all the others. If a card is too strong in Standard, you didn't fix the problem by banning it in Pioneer, where it is not an issue at all, or is even barely playable.

  13. Format Care Arena: Alchemy, Historic and Timless

    Formats on Arena have serious problems. That's because, since a lot of players play every day an enormous number of matches, metas revolve very quickly. An online game should have ban, rebalancing, and sban every month at least, but every two weeks possibly. On the contrary, now formats are completely lost and left to themselves.

  14. Add a “Like” or “Heart” Feature for Opponents After a Match

    After a match ends, players currently can’t interact with their opponents — which helps avoid toxicity, but also removes any way to show positive sportsmanship. I suggest adding a simple “Like” or “Heart” button after a game, so players can appreciate friendly or fun opponents without direct communication. It would promote positive player interactions while keeping things safe and anonymous.

  15. Deadly Cover Up not working

    Deadly Cover Up is supposed to compensate the victim with a drawn card for each card it exiles. It failed to do that today. No other cards were preventing the draw.

  16. Two card combos are really cool!

    Val, Marooned Surveyor and Trelasarra, Moon Dancer is, like all two-card combos Wizards has been cramming into the game in the last few years, incredibly interactive and really fun to play against! Please make more two-card combos to remind us how much fun we're having playing Magic Arena when we could be doing literally anything else.

  17. Eldrazi in Historic should be nerfed

    Nerf Eldrazi in Historic
    Wizards of the Coast repeatedly talked about how they try to "cure" Historic in three ways:
    1) keeping fast mana out of the format;
    2) limiting land hate;
    3) not permitting free spells in historic.
    Well, Eldrazi decks explicitly broke the first two points:
    1) They have access to 2 different "sol lands", Eldrazi Temple and Ugin's Labyrinth, which allow them (and only them) to access free mana in the first turns to speed up their game plan;

  18. Fix the ridiculous Algo’s!

    The Algorithms used for Shuffle and/or Draw on MTG Arena are worse than ever. It’s becoming unplayable. You can continue to claim ‘randomness’ in the Draw’s encouragement but frankly at this point, I’m more likely to win a Lottery… Twice… on the same **** ticket than see even 3 games of Arena in a row that feel even close to genuine. Yes, it’s possible that I draw 7mana and then Mulligan into 6mana+ 1 Creature/Support but on what planet are you trying to claim that this is actually going to happen… ITS AT LEAST 25% of Games > I’ve played…

  19. Commander with 4 players in MTG Arena

    I’d like to suggest the implementation of 4-player Commander in MTG Arena.

    To keep things balanced and fair for everyone, including players who’ve been purchasing Commander products for years, Wizards could release Commander cards in thematic blocks or waves. This way, the format would be introduced gradually, not too fast to overwhelm Arena’s economy or metagame, and not too slow to lose interest.

    This approach would also give players time to explore strategies and build decks as the card pool expands, while maintaining the spirit of Commander in a digital format.

  20. Spending Orbs is a waste of time

    I think spending orbs is a waste of time, just give me the prizes randomly.

    I have not written anything here that has been done, but if I am only given this, I believe we can significantly improve the quality of life for players.
